No One's POV:
Nadina managed to find her way out of Dul Guldur, and as she turned around before leaving the dark fortress, she could see Gandalf in the distance, facing the Necromancer. Please be safe, Gandalf! Nadina thought as she left the fortress. Nadina now took flight, heading towards the Lonely Mountain. Once she arrived, she made camp at the base of the mountain, hoping the dwarves will find her there. She had a feeling she had beaten them there, because she seen no signs of Thorin or the others. Nadina lit a fire, while she gently placed Thrain's body beside her. She also debated on whether to bury him now or wait until the dwarves arrive. My best bet is to wait for the dwarves arrive, because they have special traditions of burying their loved ones, its the right thing to do, Nadina thought. Two days went by, Nadina felt worried, wondering why the dwarves have not arrived yet. Nadina took a stroll by the lake, when she noticed a boat coming towards her in the distance. Its them! It has to be them! Nadina thought as she brushed her clothes. "THORIN!!" called out Nadina, waving her arms in the air.

Thorin's POV
As we ridden in the boat, we came closer to the Mountain. All I ever thought about during our stay in Lake Town, was Nadina. I prayed to Mahal nothing bad happened to her, since the orcs had taken her captive. Suddenly, a figure ahead of us took me by surprise, standing at the edge of the lake, waving its arms. As we drew nearer, I recognized the figure. It was Nadina! How did she get here before us? "Row faster!" I called out to Dwalin whom took up the oars. As we arrived at the base of the Mountain, we quickly jumped off the boat, and I ran to Nadina, throwing her into my arms, swinging her around. "I thought we lost you for good, my azuygal!" I whispered to Nadina. "Thorin-we need talk--all of us should sit down." Nadina said gravely. "Lets make camp. We will make our move tomorrow morning at sunrise." I announced to the company. Nadina led me and the others to where she is camping, and I took notice of something wrapped up in a blanket. Nadina began telling her story. She began with when she was taken to Dul Guldur, and then the orcs imprisoned her, in which is where she encountered my father. She told me everything my father had told her. "Oh, Thorin-I'm so sorry!" Nadina began, as she pulled me close to her. I am grateful she told me of this, and bringing my father's corpse with her. "I brought him with me, so you and the dwarves can give him a proper burial." said Nadina. "Right now, we don't have the time. Once we get rid of Smaug, then we will give the burial." I stated. Nadina nodded in agreement.
Then Nadina gave me items that belonged to my father. One was my father's old pipe, and another item, Nadina told me, actually belonged to my brother Frerin, but my father carried it with him for the longest time. It was a musical instrument that my brother played quite a lot. It was dark brown, in a shape of a fiddle with a small crank at the side. Tears fell down my cheeks as I looked at the items. "Do you need time with your father, love?" asked Nadina, as she watched me standing over my father's corpse. "Its fine, you can stand beside me!" I said to Nadina. Balin, Dwalin and the others stood behind me. "We should at least have a small tribute, if you want." said Dwalin, and he turned his eyes to his brother Balin, as if asking him to led a small ceremony. Balin nodded.

No One's POV:
Balin began a small ceremony as a tribute to Thrain, and Balin's words are moving and beautiful. Nadina stood, watching with great sadness as she listened to Balin's words. When Balin ended his speech, Dwalin and Thorin led the dwarves into singing a hymn, which was played by Thorin on the instrument that was given to him from Thrain. Thorin took up the instrument, as he began pressing the keys on it, and turning the handle, and Thorin led the dwarves in singing a hymn in tribute to their kin. Nadina could see tears in Thorin's eyes as he sang, blending in with the beautiful humming melodies of the instrument he is playing. Then Nadina realized something. She noticed several members of the company are missing. She had been so busy escaping Dul Guldur, and telling Thorin about Thrain, she overlooked the missing of several members of the company. One of them being Angelina, and the others Fili, Kili, Oin and Bofur. Nadina could feel her own tears well up as the powerful sad voices of the dwarves sang, with Thorin's deep rich baritone rising above the others.Thorin's voice could be heard throughout the Mountain.
