"Joelle". Chaelyn sang as she leaned across the car to open the passenger door.
"Chaelyn". I said, sounding exactly like her.
"You look different". She blurted out.
"I do?". I raise an eyebrow.
"You seem happier, your face seems more softer, your hair looks different and-". She gasps. "This is because of a boy!".
"How did you get that from my hair and face?". I laugh.
"But you're not denying it". She laughs. "What did he do? Where did you go?".
"Well Jisung-".
"I knew he liked you!". She squeaks, starting to drive.
"Shush let me finish". I laugh as she pretends to zip her lips shut.
"Okay so he dropped me off and Woojin came out and we talked a bit and then he told me to go get ready for our date or whatever but he took me to the arcade and we played games and he was so good at them and then we went out to lunch at a pizza place, your uncle's I believe and it was amazing but then we went to go watch the sunset and we talked about serious stuff and he said that he did like me and I just....it was an amazing night". I smile at the thought of it again.
"That sounds like the cutest thing ever". She stares in awe as we park in the parking lot of a local store. "Do you have pictures?".
"Yes". I smile proudly, pulling out my phone.
I show Chaelyn a few pictures of Jisung and I in the arcade, one of us in the pizza parlor and some of just Jisung.
"You guys would be the cutest couple".
"Yeah but I don't know if he wants to take it that far". I shake my head, putting my phone back in my pocket.
"Are you kidding me? Have you seen the way he looks at you?". She shakes her head, opening her door. "Plus, it would be fun to win the bet Changbin and I made about the two of you".
"Let's just get the stuff we need". I shake my head, following Chaelyn inside the store.
"Okay so we need to get food to snack on during the party and food to snack on now because I'm hungry, uh we need to get drinks, oh and cups too". Chaelyn says out loud, telling me the shopping list.
"I'm hungry too". I say, grabbing a package of Oreo's off the shelf.
"We need to get soda, punch and alcohol".
"Alcohol? We're going all in, huh?". I laugh, pushing the shopping cart.
"Dad's orders". She laughs, grabbing a couple bottles of soda.
As Chaelyn is grabbing the stuff we need, my phone vibrates in my back pocket.
