Three Months Later....

It was a Friday night, and Detective Juliana Vasquez was working late on the concluding reports of a very complicated case. She and the rest of SVU were all glad to be done with the case, even if it had come to a very sloppy end. Of course, this particular case would have ended even more horribly were it not for the heroic Assistant District Attorney Rafael Barba, who, of course had just texted Juliana.

I did alright, didn't I?

Juliana smiled at his almost childish ego, texting him back.

Sure did. :)

They still hadn't disclosed of their relationship to IAB. They had decided to take their time with it. Rafael Barba
texted her again.

Why don't you get over here and reward me?;)

Juliana nearly smirked from ear to ear for the whole squad room to see. She began to prepare to leave after texting back.

You've earned it corazoncito.❤️

She turned all of her reports in and said her brief goodbyes, leaving the building. She hated all of the tedious paperwork just as much as everyone else did. She was glad to just be able to see Rafael again, and to just relax at all for the first time in the last week. It had been a difficult one, and Juliana was ready to unwind. She hadn't realized how late it was until she checked the clock on her car. 12:24 already. This whole time she had thought it was only around eleven. Juliana drove fairly quickly to the ADA's office, where she had asked his secretary, Carmen, where he was.
"Mr. Barba is in the bathroom, you can go in and wait for him if you'd like," she offered.
  Juliana nodded. "Thank you, Carmen."
  "You're welcome, Detective Vasquez."

Juliana knew for sure now that Carmen was definitely into her and Rafael, without a doubt. She was his secretary, it would only make sense. She figured that Carmen wouldn't be a problem at all; she knew not to get Barba into trouble like that. She had no reason to either. Juliana decided to sit in ADA Barbra's nice leather office chair while he was gone. Juliana made herself comfortable, putting her feet up on the desk and leaning back in the chair. Barba had returned shortly; he was surprised to see Juliana in his seat. Apparently Carmen did not tell him that Juliana was there. She knew for sure.
"Hello there, Mr. Barba, I've been waiting for you," Juliana smirked. "You've been doing such a good job. I thought you deserved a reward."
Rafael grinned with joy. "Well.... I have had quite a long day," he looked her up and down.

"Hmm.... I can help you with that. But look at you, Mr. Barba. Your tie is a mess. I thought that I was the only one who messed up your tie."
"Are you going to punish me, ma'am?"
