14 | Welcome to Orlando!

The bus pulled up in front of the hotel late that night, Malcolm waking up the sleeping others in excitement.

"WE'RE HERE SLEEPYHEADS! WELCOME TO ORLANDO! GET UP!" He yelled at each of them, including shaking Hannalynn awake.

"Jesus, I get it," Hannalynn replied as she rubbed her eyes and adjusted to the light. She climbed down and grabbed her bags before following the others into the hotel. Once the got their keys, they headed up to the third floor, the girls in one room and the boys in the one across from them.

"This is exciting, isn't it? Your first performance with us?" Ayla asked with a smile as she laid her bag on her bed.

Hannalynn nodded. "Yeah, I am pretty excited, especially since you guys finally get to meet Hunter and see Cenzie again."

Ayla tried to hide her blushing smile, which Hannalynn noticed. "Yeah, I can't wait."

"Me neither," Hannalynn smiled. "Well, after I unpack a little, I'm going to go say goodnight to Jack and the others. Want to come?"

Ayla shrugged. "Alright."

Hannalynn and Ayla unpacked a few of their things and laid them out, including their outfits for the next day, before Hannalynn left the room, which Ayla had already left a couple minutes earlier. She was about to knock on the door when she heard only Finn and Ayla's voices, which she assumed they were the only ones in there. She pressed her ear against the door and listened, their conversation changing her mood immediately.

"...how long I can keep going with this, Finn," Ayla said.

"What do you mean?" Finn asked. "I thought you said you didn't like anyone?"

"I lied," Ayla sighed. "I just didn't want to make you feel like I wouldn't do this because I know that you wanted to."

"Not really, Ayla."

"No, Finn, I know part of you deep down inside did want to do this just to see how she feels."

"I don't even know how she feels about me!"

"Well what about that night you were telling me about? After our double date?" Ayla asked, Hannalynn's eyes slightly going wide. "It seemed like she enjoyed it and I know for sure you did."

"Yeah, I think she did, but what does that tell me? It's not like she said 'Hey Finn, I like you too'."

"Then maybe, when you feel the time is right, just tell her," Ayla suggested.

"But she's with Jack, Ayla!" Finn exclaimed as Hannalynn gasped and covered her mouth. "I don't want to ruin what I have with Hannalynn just because of my feelings for her and our fake relationship!"

Hannalynn felt a spark of anger rise in her chest. Finn and Ayla had been lying to everyone, including her, the entire time? And it was because Finn had feelings for her?

Hannalynn angrily pounded on the door, the voices on the other side quieting down. After a couple moments, Ayla opened the door and tried to greet her, but Hannalynn walked right past her and slapped Finn across the cheek.

"How could you, Wolfhard?!" She yelled as Finn rubbed his cheek and turned to face her. Hannalynn felt tears angrily pouring down her cheeks. "How could you both lie to me and everyone else?"

"You heard our conversation?" Finn asked quietly.

"Of course I fucking did you idiot!" Hannalynn wiped her tears away. "I can't believe you both lied to everyone just because you liked me!"

"Han—" Finn began as he tried to reach for her hand, but she slapped him across the face again.

"No! Don't you fucking touch me!" Hannalynn screamed as she backed away.

"What's going on?" They all turned their heads to see Malcolm and Jack entering the room. "All we did was leave to grab some snacks from the vending machine in the lobby, and then we walk back and hear Hannalynn yelling."

"Hanna, what happened?" Jack asked as he approached her. Hannalynn hesitated; she wanted to tell Jack and Malcolm everything, but she also didn't want to ruin everyone's relationships with each other in the band, so she just shook her head.

"It's nothing, don't worry about it, just a misunderstanding," Hannalynn replied quietly. "I-I'm going to go to bed now, see you all tomorrow." She then ran out and shut the door behind her. She crawls under her covers and continued to cry before she heard the door open.

"Hanna?" Ayla closed the door behind her. "I'm really sorry about everything that you heard, I can explain—"

"Just save it, Ayla," Hannalynn snapped. "I don't want to hear it."

Ayla sighed and decided not to respond, since Hannalynn would just cut her off if she tried. She then turned off the lights and crawled under her own covers before eventually drifting off to sleep with her own tears streaming down her cheeks. Ayla did the one thing she never wanted to do; hurt one of her best friends.

A/N: ooF i know this was the first chapter in a while with no social media in it, but i really wanted to dedicate a chapter to just this

so yikes, hannalynn finally found out about finn and ayla's plan (technically created by cenzie, which she doesn't know yet), and i feel bad that everyone is kinda in a tense place rn but just a warning, it'll only get worse after this 😬

alsO yesterday was supercon, and i met sadie sink!! i was so excited and i got an instant picture with her from my instax mini and put it in my phone case, along with this picture i'll insert (also consider this a face reveal oOf, p.s. don't mind my insulin pump that you can see through the dress lmao):

she was so incredibly sweet and we're practically the same height (i'm a little over 5'2)!!! she complimented my outfit and signed a picture for me (as seen above) and i literally died inside when she said my name :') she also answered my question at her panel, which i got on film and is on youtube (as also seen above)! i just love her so much :') and if you want to see more pictures and videos i took, they're on my instagram (peep my new pfp, a pic i took of sadie!)!
