Jisung took a long pull of his cigarette. He sighed, feeling pathetic and disappointed in himself. He sat on the roof of the school, only 3 weeks into this hellish place and here he was already skipping. Jisung had made a promise not to skip classes anymore to Minho but promises were broken all of the time, so why couldn't he break his? Jisung grunted and threw the cigarette over the side of the roof, he watched it fall. The way it fell seemed strangely graceful, it was almost like he could imagine himself falling graceful like that cigarette. Jisung shook off those thoughts quickly. He started pacing back and forth quickly across the roof in an effort to shake off his thoughts. He couldn't moreover wouldn't allow himself to start thinking in such ways again.
"Jisung? Oi Jisung, you here?"
Jisung stopped mid pace and responded, "Maybe, depends on who's asking." His expression was hard until he turned and met the face of Chan, "Oh, hey Chan."
"Hey, I thought I'd find you up here." Chan smiled and sat on the edge of the roof, he patted the area next to him.
Jisung sat next to Chan, he was curious why the older was looking for him and wondered if Minho sent him in search for him.
"Minho didn't send me to find you, so don't worry." Chan gave Jisung a reassuring look, "I noticed you weren't in your science class and went looking for you."
"Oh," was all Jisung managed to say, "but aren't you skipping now?"
"Don't worry, I have Woojin covering for me." Chan smiled, "Besides its not like I haven't skipped before, I don't really care."
Chan has always been a mystery to Jisung. In some ways Chan is an open book, one of those kids parents were proud of, goofy, he was a good guy but then Chan could also be dark, mysterious, serious and almost spooky. He's done things, experienced things and it was obvious but Jisung still couldn't wrap exactly who Bang Chan really is, it was a bit annoying but a good annoying.
"Either way, shouldn't you not get caught with a delinquent like me?" Jisung reasoned.
"A delinquent? You're nowhere near, trust me. You're just a prankster, goofy." Chan paused before continuing again, "I wouldn't call you a delinquent, you don't commit crimes."
"Chan, I smoke and drink underaged."
"Almost every high schooler has. Does that make every high schooler a delinquent?" Chan replied back.
"Well, I guess not." Jisung rolled his eyes. Jisung tilted his head and looked at Chan in interest, "Do you smoke or drink Chan?"
Chan laughed, it sounded as though it came from his soul then he answered, "What do you think? I'm curious Jisung, what do you think about me?" Chan stood up, he moved as though he was going to just let himself fall off
Jisung stood up quickly and grabbed him, "Chan, what are you doing? Stop it."
"Let me go."
Jisung eyes widen, Chan changed into Seungmin.
"Seungmin?" Jisung questioned, "What is going on?"
"Let go." Seungmin smiled and pushed Jisung's hand away.
"Seungmin! No!" Jisung screamed, tears bursted out of his eyes. He tried grabbing for his friend's arm again but it was too late, Seungmin fell quickly, "Seungmin!" Jisung looked over the edge of the roof, no one was there.
"Seungmin?" Jisung sobs became heavier, he stepped away from the edge of the roof. "No, no. No no no no no! What's happening?" He felt himself hit the chest of someone, he turned around and saw Minho.
