Chapter 9: the crash

So far all I've learned about this girl is that her name is Ivy, she wears too much perfume, and she knows nothing about personal space. And I haven't had any luck finding Liv. Every minute I spend here another group of people comes into the frat house, leaving less and less space to actually breathe.

Ivy's been trailing behind me like a lost puppy for the past ten minutes now. Every glance that I take- oh, there's Ivy. I feel like she's one of those clingy girlfriends that doesn't let her boyfriend leave the house without a tracking device. I mean in my opinion.

I make my way down the stairs and pass by a group of guys, clearly hearing their full conversation. They looked like weed smokers to me. They have those raspy slow voices that make it sound like they're high on dope all the time.

"Hey, Daniel's getting laid tonight bro." One of the guys with long-ish hair pats the other one on the back.

"No way, with who?" He lowers down his sunglasses. Why does he need sunglasses at night and inside?

"I heard it was some hot blonde. She wasn't easy though. He had to slip her a little something to speed up the process." He wiggles his eyebrows.

Hell no. I clenched my fists tight.

I storm over to the group of druggies and grab him by the collar of his shirt, slamming him up against the stair case.

" are you insane?! Where is she?!" I get only inches away from his face, and his eyes grow wide with fear. He doesn't answer for a few seconds and I slam my hand against the wall next to him.

"ANSWER ME!"

"I-I don't know man. He took off with her in his car."

What kind of low-life stoops this low just to get a girl.

I breathe in to calm myself down and loosen my grip on his shirt. He begins to walk away but I pull him back

"I'm not done with you yet."
