THE Jealousy

"Have you seen him yet." I turned to Jax feeling his arm slung over my shoulder.

"No, but I will see him in a few minutes I'm on my way to that class. Why?"

"Ryan punched him and he has a pretty bad black eye." I rolled my eyes I was expecting more. Maybe I'll be more satisfying when I see it.

"Thought he would do more for his girlfriend." Ryan was known for defending his girl whether it was to show off his ego or to actually protect her and I thought my little lie would appeal to both sides.

"Maybe he has just lost hope in trying to love her Kian." He said with a little more intent than needed almost as if there was a double meaning.

"Love was never there and it never will be." I said with a shrug. I can feel Jax staring me down but he didn't say anything. I looked up at him and his lips parted to speak but Loral and Megan came up to us before he could get a word out.

"Where were you during lunch Kian?" I rolled my eyes at the thought of Damsel and Daniel.

"Telling new girl off." I shifted all my attention to Loral who moved to walk in front of me and Megan walked to her left. We were in our formation.

"Kian telling someone off. Shocker." Megan said sarcastically. Jax laughed but it was short. Megan looked happy that someone finally found her funny.

"About what?" Loral was wanting all the information because when she had a target that was what she focused on. Not like me but close.

"She just stereotyped me to be some bimbo cheerleader and also she was arguing with-" I stopped myself, if I mention her and Daniel together that would crush Loral. As much as it seems like Loral is a bitch from Damsel's point of view which isn't too far off from who Loral really is, she is actually nicer than she seems. She fixed me up when I was not so pretty and taught me how to be a social butterfly so from my point of view she was an amazing friend with flaws but who doesn't have those. "-Me about how my nails are always done. Most annoying conversation ever."

"Sound like it." Loral laughed.

"Yeah had to put her in her place."

"I'm glad you did that Kian. Hey Jax you wanna walk me to class it's close to yours." Jax seemed taken back by Megans question or maybe he was day dreaming again I have no clue but once he seemed to realize that she was indeed asking him. He looked down at me. There was something there but it left quickly so quick I could have imagined it.

He looked up from my face to Megs and smiled at her "Sure thing." Megan smiled back and for some reason this whole interaction gave me this feeling that didn't feel too hot.

"Bye." I called out but he didn't turn around or maybe he didn't hear me. I don't know.

It was just me and Loral now. The feeling was still there in my head. I could feel my cheeks getting hot.

"I think I'm sick." Loral looked at me and then laughed and kept walking

"Your not sick Kian your just Jealous."

J E A L O U S ? I laughed at the silly thought. There is no way in hell I'm jealous of Megan and Jax walking together.

"No, me and Jax are just friends."

"Yeah I know and so does Megan that's why she's walking with him. You know that she's always had her eyes on your boy toy."

"Yeah, so what he's had other girlfriends I've never felt jealous before. I don't do the whole relationship, attached, emotion thing.

"Well maybe so but you do like the attention. He just gave the time he always spends with you to her. Now, what I'm curious about is what happened to cause him start looking somewhere else?"

"What do you mean he's had girlfriends?" I question we were almost my class now.

"What I mean is that he worshiped the ground you walked on last week and even with girlfriends he would never walk any of them to there class after lunch and now he's walking Megan to her class when he has walked you to your class after lunch every day for two years. What changed?" she had a valid point. What did change?

I thought back to the party and my mind went blank. "I got black out drunk at that party he took me home this weekend."

"Maybe a drunken mistake." God I hope not
