Chapter 9

"Nat I need Loki's staff to close the portal."

"Where is it?"

"I'm looking right at it." Cut in Eric.

I jumped down to get it then flew back up with it.

"That's cool." Nat exclaimed. I just looked at her, I smiled and we both got caught in a bunch of laughter.

"Push the sceptre into the crown." Said Eric.

"Do you want to do it?" I asked Nat. "Yes please" she said and smiled again.

Nat pushed the sceptre through the force field and to the beam of light.

"We can close it, can anyone copy?" I asked "I can shut the portal down." I said into the earcom, "Do it." Cap shouted back.

"No wait." Said Tony "stark these things are still coming." Said cap back.

"I've got a nuce coming, it's gonna blow in a minuet." There was a pause as Tony caught up to the missile, "and I know just where to put it."

"Tony you know that that's a one way trip." I Said realising what he was going to do.

"Save the rest for the turn J." I could hear him say.

"Sir do you want to call Ms Potts?" "Might as well."

"Tony no don't do this." I said desperately, "I've got to Astraea." he replied.

"Tony!" I screamed as he disappeared into the portal. he didn't reply.

"Come on stark." I heard Nat whisper.

"Close it!" I heard cap say.

"Noooo." I shouted, but Nat did what cap said.

With a burst of energy the portal closed.

I sank to the ground, my eyes brimming with tears.

"What A guy." Cap said, I looked up to see Tony falling from the sky.

I sighed in relief, then realised something. "He's not slowing down." I cried.

I jumped off the tower using my wings to propel myself toward Tony.

I swooped underneath him and caught him, slowing him and lowering him to the ground.

Cap ripped off Tony's mask and checked for breathing.

Cap sat back, did that mean? Suddenly the hulk roared and Tony jumped "What the hell, what just happened, please tell me no one kissed me!"

"We won." I said. "Alright yay." Said stark "alright good job guys, let's just not come in tomorrow. Let's just take a day, have you ever tried swarmer?" (I think that's how it's spelt) "there a swarmer joint about two blocks from here, I don't know what it is but I want to try it."

"We're not finished yet." Said Thor, "and then swarmer after." Said Tony.

Up in stark tower

Loki groaned and sat up looking at myself, Thor, the hulk, Tony, cap, Hawkeye and Nat who was holding Loki's spear.

"If it's all the same to you," he sighed. "I'll have that drink now."

Later that week

I was walking behind Thor and Loki, who had a mouth guard on.

I walked with Tony who had the tesseract in a case. "You know astraea," Said Tony "if you are ever back at earth and you need a place to land, my house is always open." I looked at Tony and smiled. "Thanks Tony." I laughed and hugged him.

Eric came over and Tony opened the case and used some weird earth grabbers to lift the tesseract into a save glass container that could take us home.

"Bye Nat!" I said, "Bye everyone!" I shouted as Thor turned the handle of the tesseract case and we were transported home in a flash of blue light.

And so starts Thor: the dark world
