Chapter 12

"Jane?"

"I'm alright" she mumbled.

"Now they are following us, now there are firing at us!"

"Yes think you for the commentary Loki it's not al all distracting!"

We bashed though the tunnel taking off the statues head.

"Well done Thor, you just decapitated your grand father."

"You know this is wonderful Thor, this is a tremendous idea, let's steal the biggest most obvious ship in the universe and escape in that, flying round the city crashing into everything in sight, so everyone can see it, it's Brilliant Thor, absolutely brilliant." The sarcastity was really building up in his voice when Thor pushed him out the open doorway.

I looked at Thor questioningly before following him out and down on the ship below.

" I see your time in the dungeons has made you no less graceful Loki!" Said Fandral.

Our followers carried on following the dark elves ship, we were free!

"You lies to me," Said loki "I'm impressed."

"Glad your pleased, now do as you promised and take us to your secret pathway."

One of the following ships was now following and firing at us again. "Thor?" I said uncertainly.

"Fandral!" Exclaimed Thor looking at fandral. "Right! Fir asgard."He said in rely, before he tied an Rope to the ship and jumped off the sides onto the other ship to keep it from following us.

Loki directed is towards the mountain.

"Loki?" I said questioningly.

"If it was easy, everyone would do it."

"Are you mad?" I asked

"Possibly." He replied.

We scraped through the tiny cave.

"Ta da." He said once we were though, I breathed a sigh of relief. We lived.

"What I could do with the power that flows though those veins." Exclaimed Loki.

"It would consume you." I relied but secretly I agreed with him, imagine what good I could do!

"She's holding up alright for now." Said Loki gesturing to Jane.

"She's strong in ways you would never even know."

"Say goodbye." Said Loki, "not this day." Responded Thor.

"This day, the next a hundred years, it's nothing. It's a heart beat, you will never be ready, the only woman's love you ever prised will be staunched away from you!"

"And will that satisfy you?"

"Satisfaction is not in my nature."

"Surrenders not in mine."

"Son of Odin." Sniggered Loki

"No not just of Odin, you think you alone loved mother? You had her tricks, but I had her trust."

"Trust was that her last expression? Trust, when you let her die?!"

"What use were you in you cell?"

"Who put me there? WHO PUT ME THERE?" Cried Loki

"You Know Damn Well, YOU KNOW DAMN WELL WHO!" Responded Thor. "She wouldn't want us to fight!"

"Well she wouldn't exactly be shocked!" I laughed. I was used to these men's quarrels and took them as banter now and nothing more.

"I wish I could trust you!" Said Thor sadly.

Thor turned round and looked at Jane and I heard Loki whisper "Trust my rage." I looked quizzically at Loki before Shaking my head.

Jane started to stand up and as she turned around I noticed the ship before us. "Malakith." I whispered.

We got off the ship and walked towards where the ship had landed.

"Right are we ready?" Thor asked. "I am." Replied Loki.

As they walked up and onto the top of the hill. "You know this plan of yours if going to get us killed?!" I said.

"Yes possibly." Said Thor.

"You still don't trust me brother?" Asked Loki.

"Would you?" Asked Thor as he took off Loki's hand cuffs.

"No I wouldn't" Said Loki. As he made a dagger appear and trust it into Thor's chest!

"No!" I screamed rushing after the tumbling Thor.

"You really think I cared about frigga, about any of you." Said Loki kicking Thor in the stomach making him roll over.

"All I ever wanted was you and Odin dead at my feet!" Exclaimed Loki.

Thor went to summon his hammer but Loki cut off his hand so he couldn't. Yech that was really YEW.

Loki dragged Jane to her feet and trust her towards malakith saying.

"I am Loki of yotenheim, and I bring you a gift." This whole time I was standing behind Loki, looking strong but scared.

"And I ask for only one thing in return, a good seat for myself and my daughter to see Asgard burn!"

The monster said something to malakith and he walked over to Thor. "Look at me!" He commanded Thor.

Malakith lifted up Jane and started removing the aether from inside her.

At this point I was scared for Jane, she was after all only mortal.

"Loki now" Cried Thor and Loki gave Thor his arm back and Thor destroyed the aether, it exploded and Loki protects myself and Jane from the flying sparks of it. It was gone or so he thought, suddenly malakith appeared and sucked up all the little parts of the aether.

We had failed.

Thor started fighting the dark elves but one of them threw one of the awful grenades at us, Loki pushed myself and Jane back, saving us, bit he got caught in it.

At the last moment Thor pulled Loki free and we all stared fighting the elves.

I could see Thor in the distance fighting the monster, he was about to be killed.

"Loki, Thor's in trouble" I shouted.

Loki made an image of himself to go fight the monster while myself and he watched, silently.

The Loki image stabbed the monster in the stomach But before the Loki image could get away the monster stabbed him with the same sword.

Thor cried a despairing "noooo." And Loki crumbled to the ground and that was my moment to rush over to him.

Loki image said though gritted teeth, "see you in hell monster." He has pressed the button on the monsters belt and the monster was quickly exploded and then evaporated.
