Chapter 5: Lost Girl

Jade's POV

So, here I am about to land so retouched my usual make up and I just applied a little mascara just to open up my eyes. I applied some perfume and I was ready to get off.

The plane landed safely so I got out and took my 2 luggages. I placed my sling bag inside my other luggage just to lessen the bags that I need to carry or should I say pull. I texted my mom that I just landed and that I'll see her soon.

I was still at the airport and I dialed Nicole's phone number and guess what she wasn't answering. Geez... (Nicole and Michael are doing stuff that only couples would do.)

"Nicole, please pick up. I don't know where to go." I said as I tried to call her nonstop. 58 missed calls then I give up. I tried to check if mom's tracker was on and it was so I decided to follow it. I don't know how the transportation works here so I decided to walk the direction for a while and if I get to see a taxi, I'll just give it a ride on the way their.

I sent a txt message to Nicole saying that  I don't need her help but in a nice way of texting since I know that she might be busy with something... or someone...  but whatever. I was crossing on the other side and I suddenly dropped my phone.

How clumsy of me. I was about to pick my phone up when suddenly a car horned at me which 'caused me to panic so I left my phone there for a while and decided to pick it up when the car already passed but then it went passed my phone which caused to crack. The car stopped in front of m for a while and a guy said, "don't be reckless, young lady! Watch where you're going." He said but my eyes just widened. "I'm sorry about that but hey, how dare you? You just broke my phone."  I said picking up my broken phone. "Geez, I'm not even from here." I sad looking at my wecked phone.

"Well, too bad." The jerk wad said before driving leaving me completely shocked at those trashy attitude of a guy. "Ugh! What a jerk.... what am I suppose to do now? Could my day get even worse than it already is?" I stomped really hard before pulling my bags. I guess I'll just have to ask around. I sat on the bench for a while swinging my foot back and forth. I'm lost in London... I saw a telephone booth but it was broken like ugh! After resting for a while, I started to ask around and they gave me a few directions but I think I got lost a lot more than before. What am I suppose to do.

Calum's POV

Here I am waiting for Max to get cleaned up. I also requested for his bath 'cause why not. A few minutes later, Max ran to me and started jumping on my lap. I held his hed to smell him and he does smell good. His breath doesn't stink anymore but it doesn't smell good. It's just ok. I went to the cashier and payed. I wore my shades since some fans might notice. I forgot to bring a celephane with me. Max wouldn't poop since he pooped this morning, right?

We sat on a bench and I started to play with him. As he do what I told him to, I gave him his treat. "Catch your tail!" I say and he did. "Good job." I said holding my hand out with treats on it and he ate it. "Stay...stay..." he sat down properly. "Roll over." I said and he started rolling over. "Good boy." I said feeding him his treat. "Now, play dead!" And he did. This dog sure knows. I gave him his last treat.

"Haven't you had enough of London? Should we head home, now?" I asked messing up his fur. He barked at me once which I took as yes.

We were walking and we are now half way back to our hotel. Something is weird about him though. He kept sniffing ground which leads us to a slow pace. "What're you sniffing there, buddy?" I said as I looked at my phone and it's almost lunch. I'm hungry. I only had tea this morning. Ugh!

"Max, c'mon..." I said calling him out but instead of following me, he ran away from me. I knew this would happen. "Max! Don't do this again. Com back! Hey! Buddy!" I said chasing that naughty dog of mine. Remind me why I didn't bring his stroller. Ugh! Max turned his way to the right so I followed. I ran as fast as I could and I suddenly bumped with a brunette girl. Our bump was pretty hard and it might have hurt her so instead of her hitting the ground, I swapped positions with her which leads my back to hit the painful ground. Ouch... man, this girl smells good. "Ah! Ah. Ouch..." I said in pain.

I opened my eyes to meet a beautiful hazel once. Am I dreaming? Is this real? Is it really her. I swear, she gets prettier and prettier all the time. We were staring at each other for a while. I got lost in her eyes. "Jade?" I said and my other arm is still around her waist. Max came licking Jade's face and she quickly stood up from our awkward position.

I stood up as well. I looked to my side to see Max resting. So, this is what he was up too. He can even remember her scent. I put my hands on my hips and I could see two luggages beside her. "What? You can't even remember your own dog?" I said out of nowhere while she gave me that innocent look. "Max?" She asked as Max ran towards her and she squatted playing with Max for a while as she giggled. "Aww, I'm sorry about that, bud. You've grown so much." She says laughing and I swear that it was still a music in my ears.

"Aww I miss you." She said hugging Max as he licked her cheek. "I can't believe you took care of him. Thank you." She says smiling towards me which melted my heart seeing those smile but I just played it cool.

"What're you doing here, anyway?" I said in a usual tone. I saw her holding a broken phone. "What happened to your phone?" I asked. "A car ran over it. The driver was a jerk if you ask me." She says and I gave a small laugh. I'm so cruel but ... whatever.

"What's so funny?" She said frowning while playing with Max's fur. "Let me guess... you were clumsy again, weren't you?" I asked still giving a small laugh. She just stayed silent and frowned and I just laughed even more. "Look, I'm sorry... Anyways, Do you need me to take you somewhere?" I asked. "No, I was just on my way to mom's place." She answered. "Then why are you here? You're not even half way there." I said she just stayed silent. I bet she's lost but embarassed to say so.

"Ok then, so maybe Max and I could go?" I said to her. "You're taking Max?" She asked innocently and cutely. "What's wrong with that?" I asked which was a little rude of me. She just shook her head. "Guess, I'll see you around, Missie." I said to her. "Yeah, see you around. Bye, buddy." She said to me and Max. "C'mon, buddy!" I said as I clapped my hands twice and Max followed me. We started walking in 4 steps and I looked back at Jade walking in the opposote direction of her Mrs. Evans' address. Geez, this girl.

I ran back to her and grabbed her wrist. "You're lost, aren't you?" I said putting my glasses on again. "No!" She said trying to hide her guilt of being lost. She can't even lie. "You're suppose to walk that way." I said pointing to the right direction. "And I suggest you take a cab." I said continuing my sentence. She frowned. "I know ... I was just heading over there to get pizza." She says trying to cover up herself up. "There's no pizzeria in that direction, young lady." I said to her and she just shrugged her shoulders.

"Fine. I asked everyone. Nicole won't answer her phone, my mom is sick, I followed my mom's tracker and my phone broke... happy? I'm totally lost and I'm so craving for chicken and pizza right now... You're the only person here who could help me, so will you?" She asked me ....

Hahahaha! I should mess with her while I still can.
