Chapter 4: Stained Sweater

There might be flashbacks in this book that wasn't written in book 1. But there is still flashbacks from book 1 that I have to include in this book.

Calum's POV

So, here I am at our hotel room. I'm lying here in bed with Max. He just finish eating and he immediately layed on my bed. I rested my head ok my palms, lifting and I was staring at the Golden brown dog. "Seriously, what am I going to do with you?" I asked the as I furrowed my eyebrows. He stares at me back. "You're messing up with my life. Don't you want me to move on or what? No?" I asked the dog. I don't even know why I'm talking to this dog.

"Do you miss her, boy?... I miss her too." I said patting Max. "But there's nothing I can do, bud............ " I said running my hand through his fur. As I was doing that, my eyes landed on my closet. I went to my closet and decided to put a shirt on. So I did, and I saw Jade's yellow cardigan.... I took it and went back to bed where Max was laying. "This was your owner's sweater, bud." I said as I held it in my hands.

*flashback////

January in Australia: the one last week they have before going back to New York.

We walked inside my room and Jade was looking for a tissue to wipe the stain of her yellow cardigan. She was laughing at herself for being quite messy while eating the steak that mom cooked. "What're you even doing? My goodness." I said putting my hands on my hips. "You're mom's cooking is so delicious and I couldn't help myself." She says looking at her staained cardigan.

"Man, I stained my cardigan." She says pouting. "Do you want to borrow a sweater from Mali since your clothes are at your house?" I said and she looked up at me. "... or just take it off." I said smirking to her.

"Umm... no it's fine, I'll just wipe it off." She says smiling while blushing. "C'mon just take it off." I said trying to take her sweater off. "Cal, your mom is outside, you better behave." She says scolding me but can't fight the smile forming on her lips. I just smirked at her. "C'mon they're not hearing us." I said as I was messing with her. She looked so cute and shy. Finally she let me slide her sleeves over her arms so I could take it off. "I'm just messing with you. I'm gonna wash it that's why I'm taking it off." I said taking her cardigan off but then I paused when we looked into each other's eyes I leaned in and we share a 2 seconds kiss. We were both smiling like crazy.

"Fine, here." she says smiling and blushing. She's so beautiful. I smiled at her and took of her cardigan completely revealing her fair, soft and smooth arms and shoulder before leaning in for another kiss as I held her face. It lasted for about 6 seconds and I felt ourselves smiling through the kiss and giving a small giggle. We pulled away and I reste my forehead against hers and she gave a small giggle which was the cutes thing ever so I just smiled at her.

*end of flash back///

I smiled to myself remembering that sweet moment we shared. I smelled her cardigan but too bad, I washed it so her scent wasn't there anymore.... ugh! Whyyy??? I placed her yellow cardigan on my face and started lay on my stomach, smiling like crazy ... I was pretty much giggling and squealing covering my mouth with Jade's cardigan.

Even though, it's been a long time, remembering those moments still makes my heart beat like crazy.... How I miss this feeling. :)

I need to get some sleep seriously ...

Max's POV
He lost it. He's smiling like crazy. Why is he holding Jade's sweater? He has to sleep. He's taking me on a stroll tomorrow.

Calum's POV

"I can't sleep.ugh!" I said stretching myself up. I turn to the side to look at Max already sleeping. "Ugh! I'm taking you on a stroll tomorrow. Hope I can wake up early. I got out of bed and did a few push ups just to tire myself. It didn't work so I planked, I did a few curl ups and still doen't work. And then I remembered what Jade use to do.

I went to the kitchen to get a glass of hot milk. I drank it all slowly and went back to bed and finally, I got to fell asleep.

I woke up with a dog licking my face up. "Max, eww... your breath stinks." I said groaning. Seriously, I haven't gotten his teeth cleaned up yet. I'll take him there later since I didn't know how to do it. "I'm up, I'm up." I say as I patted his head. I sat down and stretched myself before heading to the bathroom to shower up.

I changed into a plain black shirt with a pocket on the left side of the chest and some black skinny jeans. I was having a hard time if I should wear my black leather booths or my black and white converse and in the end I went with the converse since I might run after Max later and I need to be comfortable enough to chase a dog. I sprayed perfume and fixed my hair before walking out of my room.

"Morning, guys." I greeted my boys. As I made myself a cup of milk tea.

Ashton: where are going?

Calum: taking Max out for a stroll and I need to get his teeth brushed. His breath stinks.

Luke: so, how's it going with Nia?

Calum: fine.

Michael: are you guys a thing or? I mean your leaked photo went viral on twitter.

Calum: I don't know... I just don't seem to care what people thinks anymore. (Drinking his tea) besides, we're not an item.

Ashton: really?

Calum nods.

Michael: What if Calum and Nia started dating and suddenly Jade is staying on the other room again?

Ashton: Now that would be interesting.

Luke: you guys, seriously...(face palms)

Michael: That won't happen, I mean Jade's mom lives around London so she might stay with her mom...

Then it hit me. I can't believe I totally forgot that her mon is staying in London. "Cal?" Ashton calls out. "Hmm?" I asked him. "Nothing. You just became so quiet when Michael meantions about Jade's m-" Ashton was cut off with Luke's hand over his mouth.

"No. I just forgot that her mom lives here." I said to them taking another zip. "So, you gonna go for Nia?" Luke asked. "I don't really know. I mean she's cool but I'm not really sure about my feelings towards her." I said as they all just nodded. I placed my empty cup on the sink and called for Max so we could leave.

"And guys, don't act like you want Nia and I to be together. I know that you guys ain't down for us to be dating.... see ya later. Just text me if you guys wanted me to get you something. Bye :)" I said as I waved at them goodbye with Max walking out of the door first at making his way to the elevator. The guys were shocked but I just smiled and chuckled. I love those guys, seriously.

I walked to the elevator to see Max pretty stoked waiting for the elevator doors to open as he moved his tail. Cute.
