Two months has passed and now it's December. The weather is much colder and there's snow everywhere. I'm on my way home for Winter break. I just got off my flight and I'm walking towards the exit of the airport.
I see a taxi outside and I tell him my destination. He opens the trunk and takes my bags. I get in the back of the car and feel the trunk slam shut. Soon after he gets in and starts to pull away from the airport.
I've checked my Snapchat and Twitter. Nothing is amusing me right now. I have to turn my data off before I go over my limit. Before I do so, I get an Instagram notification.

What the fuck? I don't even want to care about him but I do. I turn off my data and lock my phone. This is about to be the most boring ride home.

I arrive home and I'm greeted by my family. They take my bags to my room for me and my mom warms up the dinner she made an hour ago. I sit at the dinner table and eat until I feel full.
My parents of course ask me about school and how I did on my exams. I tell them that everything is okay and that I'm doing well.
An hour passes and I tell them I'm going to bed. I kiss them both good night and go to the bathroom. I take a nice hot shower and, then lay in my bed and climb under the covers. I enjoy sleeping naked sometimes.

My heart sinks. I ignore him. Why? Because he left me for a girl. He had a choice and his choice was that she was more important. I feel like I hate him but I know I don't.

A moment later I was getting a FaceTime call from an unknown number. I'm guessing it was him. I answer and he has his phone propped up on something. He's sitting in a chair and his light source is coming from the TV. I can see he has a PS4 controller in his hand.
I make sure the covers are up to my neck just in case he can actually see me. I have a small night light in my room but other than that, my phone screen is lighting up my face.
He smiles at me. That smile I've been dying to see. "Hey lil mama." He chuckles and then looks back at the TV. He moves his thumbs around the controller and becomes focused.
"Did you call me just so I can watch you play games?" I laugh at how serious he is and it makes him laugh too. "Nah I have to ask you something."
"What?" I can feel myself getting anxious and I get butterflies in my stomach. He looks back at me, "Why didn't you ever tell me that you were a stripper?"
I roll my eyes at him. After two months, he comes back to ask me that fuckboy question. "You never asked about my job." He unties his durag and let's his dreads fall wherever they want. I haven't looked at any of his social media since he cut me off so I'm in love with his longer dreads.
"I knew it was you when I saw you a couple months back." He chuckles and then coughs, "I recognized your body from anywhere." Is he being a hoe? I think so. I ignore his comment, "Yeah, I saw you too."
"Is lil mama tired?" He asks me like I'm a baby. I roll my eyes playfully and smile, "Yeah, I just got home today." I lay on my side and rest my hand on my pillow.
"Okay baby, I'll talk to you later. Get some rest. I got something for you later." I nod my head at his words and then hang up the call. I add his number to my phone. "Lil hoe 🍆"
