"Okay, I'll be back later!" I call out as I stand at the front door. "Where are you going?" Jahseh calls out. I look over and see Jahseh and Stokeley sticking their heads around the corner of the kitchen.
"I'm going out for a bit with a friend." I rest my hands on my hips, "Is that a problem?" Jahseh shakes his head, "Nah, I don't care."
"Stokeley?" I question. He looks at Jahseh and shrugs his shoulder. "I don't care either. Have fun." I roll my eyes in annoyance.
Stupid ass.
I leave through the front door and see him sitting in his car. I get in the car and he greets me with a hug. "Hey, how are you?" I pull away and smile, "I'm good, how are you?" He shrugs his shoulders and smiles.
I nod and put on my seatbelt, "So where are we going?" He starts up the engine and pulls away from the curb. "How does Denny's sound?"
I nod and give him an assuring hum. "I got a question." I add. He looks at me for a moment and smiles, "What is it?" He asks.
"What's your name?" He chuckles and scratches the back of his head. "I guess I never told you, huh?" I shake my head. "It's Pryce."

We are sitting down in a booth together and I'm actually enjoying his company. It feels almost like when Stokeley would take me out to eat. I can feel my phone buzzing and I try to ignore it.
"Imma be right back." He gets up and I see him go into the bathroom. I finally look at my phone and see 3 missed calls from Stokeley and 5 texts from him. Then one text from Jahseh.
Lil hoe 🍆: yo - where are you? - answer the phone - when are you comin home? - wow fuck you too then since you wanna be seein other people
Why is he being like this? He's the one that keeps pushing me away. I feel my eyes literally roll to the back of my head.

I lock my phone quickly when I see him come back from the bathroom. He sits down with me again and the waiter comes. "Could we get the bill?" The waiter nods, "Sure. Will it be separate?"
"Together." He quickly answers before I can say anything. The waiter leaves and he looks at my reaction. "You really don't have to pay for me." He snickers, "It's cool. I don't mind."
"Well thank you." I giggle, "I'll tell my friend to send you his share of the bill." He laughs and looks at his phone. "Sorry I'm keeping you out so late." I shrug and smile.
I honestly have felt so lonely lately and even though Jahseh tries to keep me busy, it's not enough. I actually had fun tonight and I didn't really think of Stokeley until he rudely interuppted my night.
