Love Triangles. They are extremely complicated.
Emily, Emi, and Sasha were the best of friends but they all developed feelings for each other.
They all live in a magical world of witches and wizards (I forgot this was a oneshot book. Meaning each chapter is a different story *sigh)
Your subject grade decides your power level
Lightning - math
Fire - reading
Wind - writing
Earth - science

There are 8 tables in the classroom.
2 tables for people who excell at a certain type of magic
Emi sat with Ruben, and Sasha but I don't remember if there was someone else.
Emily sat with Alana and Adlemi.
Emily's table excelled in Wind type (AKA writing)
Emi's excelled in Lightning type magic.
The Other Table's:
Aubrey, Matthew, Timothy, Someone Else - Fire Magic
Melina, Kenzie, Javier, Someone Else - Earth Magic
Franky, Emma, Eddie - Fire Magic
Mckenzie, Nitsuga, Maddox, Lizbeth (?) - Wind Magic
Reagan, Aaliyah, Angel - Earth Magic
Avy, Yliana, Kayla, Manuel - Lighting Magic
The groups can do other magic but this is just what the main characters of each group are good at or I had left overs.
Everyday students pick a partner to work with to improve each magic type when they're in class.
Emi and Sasha sat with each other but Sasha always asked before Emily had a chance
Lunch
"Sasha, let me partner with him for once, I'm always left out!" Emily argued
"I could but you wouldn't get any work done." Sasha retorted
"Ugh you suck." Emily said before walking away
"Ok. If you won't LET me partner with him I'm just gonna ask him a day early."
Meanwhile A Bit Away From the Argument
"Why do they both like noodle arms?" Kayla asked
"I don't know but I sense a love triangle." Avy said
Ok Back From the Cutscene
Emi told Yliana, Aaliyah, and Mckenzie her master plan
"I'm gonna ask him before Sasha does."
"So, do you like him?" Yliana asked
"Oh my god.. *sighs YES." Aaliyah said
"Wow. You like the twig?" Mckenzie asked
"What?! No! I'm just always left out." Emily said
"BOI. Just admit, your feelings." Aaliyah said
"Shut up."
Later in Class
The teacher wasn't in class currently so there was a sub (speaking of subs, add this book to ur library #shamelessplugs)
"Hey Emi!" Emily said
"Hi!" Emi said (emi's weird and sometime's I wonder if he is really a girl)
"Will you be my partner tomorrow? Since we have to go to the school library."
"Sure!"
"Thanks!"
Sasha had heard everything and just as Emily was gonna leave Sasha walking infront of her and said,
"Hey! I was gonna ask him."
"To late." Emily said.
They started arguing.
"Can you stop?" Aubrey asked blowing Wind magic at them making them cold
Everyone was practicing magic
So Emily and Sasha started fighting with small amounts of magic while emi thought of food.
"So who is gonna be your partner?!" Emily and Sasha asked at the same time
"FOOD!" Emi said waking up from a dream.
Noth girls were confused.
In the end Emi chose dead memes and food
