25 | The Tie Breaker

It was down to the finals. Six candidates were left on the stage. The best muse and escort will win 50 points for their team, the first runner-up will win 30 points, and 20 points for the second runner-up.

I sighed. A part of me wants to win because I really want to win but there's also a part of me that wants to get this over with because I'm really hungry.

"The second place goes to Green team! Congratulations."

Well then, as usual, kami ulit ni Michelle ang magkalaban. I sighed again.

Nginisian niya ako at ako naman ay wala sa mood dahil gutom na talaga ako. "Oh... it looks like we have a tie!"

A what now??

"Ya'll know what this means?" The host asked to the audience. Everyone answered, "on the spot challenge!!"

I have no idea what's going on. Pinagtabi kami ng aming partners and we faced our opponents.

Michelle and I played rock-paper-scissor. Unfortunately, she won. This is the only game that I can never win.

"Now pick your challenge. Whoever wins the challenge, wins another 50 points, which gives your whole team 100 points!"

Muling nagsigawan ang mga studyante at parang pati ako naexcite. Deep inside, I was wishing her luck.

Please be an easy challenge!

"A dance off." She read with an irritated look on her face.

"The first round will be the girls, second will be the boys, and if ever there's a tie again, you'll be given 20 minutes to choreograph a short duet dance."

Nagkatinginan kami ni Ace and we both looked excited. Hindi ko alam kung ano ang ibinulong ni Kevin kay Michelle but I'm pretty sure I'll be having a hard time.

Matagal na simula nung magkita kami ni Michelle. Who knows if she improved her dancing skills.

The music started and nagkatinginan kaming dalawa. For some reason, she seems to be brimming with confidence.

Nagulat nalang ako nang bigla siyang sumayaw and those are the moves that I didn't expect she could do. It has flaws but her moves are beyond my expectation.

Napangiti ako and started wacking as I walk towards her. Hindi ako masyadong malapit at hindi rin ako malayo sa kaniya.

Sinabayan ko ang mga beat and I can hear everyone cheering for me. As soon as I finish my freestyle, inakbayan ko siya.

Tumawa muna ako bago bumalik sa pwesto ko. "The winner is black team!" Itinaas ng host ang kamay ko.

Now it's time for the boys. They looked serious, I have a bad feeling about this. Both of them are good in dancing.
