Akhil point of view

I stood there, waiting with a mix of anticipation and anxiety. Come on, Akhil, you need to tell her how you truly feel. You need to! As if summoned by my thoughts, her voice broke the silence. "Hi," she said, making me turn around abruptly and almost causing her to flinch.

I scanned her from head to toe—she looked stunning. The scent of her presence drove me to the brink of madness. "Hello, beautiful," I greeted, a smirk playing on my lips. She fought the urge to roll her eyes at my remark, which only made me smirk more. "Mr. Vampire, what's the reason for calling me out at this hour?" she asked, her arms crossed defensively. She looked so endearing in her indignation.

"Let's go," I said, opening the door of my car for her. The drive to my house was enveloped in silence, both of us lost in our thoughts.

Sushvi's Point of View

As we entered my home, I had expected something extravagant, but instead, he led me into a haven of warmth and delightful scents. The aroma of black forest cake filled the air, making my stomach growl loudly.

I had forgotten to eat all day. "My dear human friend, how about dinner?" Akhil offered with a playful tone. I nodded eagerly. He led me to the dining room, where a feast awaited us—dishes spread across the table like a lavish buffet. I marveled at the spread as he pulled out my chair for me.

"Your cook must have spent the whole evening preparing this," I remarked, taking a bite of the baby corn. His smile widened. "I made all of this," he said with a hint of pride. What? Did he prepare all this himself? I nearly choked on my food. He chuckled at my reaction. "Is it to your liking?" he asked.

"I love it!" I responded, scooping up another mouthful. We continued talking, and he shared stories of his childhood—his mother baking him cakes, neighbors joining the celebrations, and the playful fights with Akash over cake slices. His animated gestures brought his stories to life.

I was mesmerized by every detail of him: his smile, the way his red lips curled as he spoke, and how he scratched his head thoughtfully. I found myself completely enchanted by him. He waved his hand in front of me. "Hey, are you alright?" he asked, noticing my distracted state.

"Your plate has been empty for a while, and you're still not eating," he teased. I smiled. He seemed to understand my unspoken thoughts. After dinner, we moved to the balcony. The moon was a deep, eerie red. "Do you have something called Blood Moon Day?" I asked curiously. His laughter filled the night air.

"Where do you come up with these things?" he asked, still chuckling. I narrowed my eyes playfully and turned my face away. He walked closer. "What is it about vampires that captivate you so much?" he asked, gazing into my eyes.

I smiled, though the words surprised even me. "Because I believe in you," I said softly. I hadn't meant to say it out loud. His expression was inscrutable, and my heart raced. "I don't know why I believe in you, but I do know that you would never hurt me," I added, my voice filled with sincerity.

He looked at me with wide eyes before smiling gently. His hands cupped my face, his touch sending shivers down my spine. His face was mere inches from mine, his focus shifting to my lips. I stood frozen, captivated by his closeness. He leaned in, his lips almost touching mine.

"No, Sushvi! Don't do this!" my mind screamed. "Don't let him slip away!" my heart urged. I was torn, feeling safe and yet apprehensive. I closed my eyes, his hands encircling my waist. Just as our lips were about to meet, the doorbell rang, jolting us apart.

Disappointed, I watched as Akhil opened the door to reveal Leela and Akash. "Did we interrupt something, bro?" Akash teased with a smirk. Leela enveloped me in a tight hug, her strength almost overwhelming.

After she released me, a beautiful girl with her hair in a ponytail entered. Her simplicity and allure made her look angelic. She handed Akhil a bouquet. "Thanks for coming, Sana," Akhil said, his happiness evident.

Who is this girl? Why is everyone so focused on her? Jealousy gnawed at me. Leela's next words struck like a dagger: "Akhil, aren't you going to introduce your fiancée to Sushvi?" My world crumbled. Fiancée? Akhil hadn't mentioned her before. I felt like an outsider in a world that had seemed perfect only moments ago.

Feigning a phone call from Harshi, I excused myself. "I need to go. Harshi just called," I lied, my heart aching. Akhil sensed my discomfort, but I brushed past him, ignoring his calls.

As I walked away, I hit a hard, solid frame. Strong arms steadied me. I looked up into the face of a charming man, his smile both comforting and hypnotic. "Are you in a hurry, miss?" he asked, his deep voice soothing.

"I'm sorry," I murmured.

"Hello, I'm Arnav. May I ask why you're out alone at this hour?" he inquired with genuine concern. I struggled to hold back my tears.

"If you don't mind, may I accompany you?" he offered. His voice was so compelling that I nodded with a faint smile.

Hello everyone, sorry for the late update.

So, has Arnav just entered Sushvi's life? What will happen next?
