Arguing

I hid within the hall shadows and when I walked by people I kept my head low. A few people tried to speak to me but before they could I ran off. My feet would pound on the ground even if I was in heels.

I had yet to see harry since defence against the dark arts class. I saw Hermione and Ron but they didn't see me or ignored me. It was dinner time and a whole day had gone by. I was sitting at the Slytherin table and many eyes were on me. I ignored them.

People were chatting of course but the second harry entered it went silent. I sunk low in my seat when I noticed he was scanning the table. The teachers were off somewhere so it was really tense in the great Hall.

He eventually gave up and sat with Hermione and Ron. The teachers eventually came in and we were all packed in and eating and chatting. I just picked at my food like normal. No point and eating really. After a while of sitting there I stood up and slipped out of the hall.

I was halfway down the hall when I heard footsteps running twords me. I ran around a corner and turned into my anigami. I slipped into the shadows and stood there quietly still. The person came around the corner and I anazlized their features.

Harry. What does he want now. "Where did you go lauretta!" He said in frustration. He had sadness and frustration in his eyes. I wanted to go out there and give him a hug but decided against it.  When he went running down the hall I made a break for it.

He not getting any apologies accepted anytime soon. I ran out of the castle and into the forbidden forest. Howls and hoots came out of it as I entered. No that I mind. The animals are aware of my presence along with the other creatures and they don't mind me. After all I'm kinda like one. In a way. Haha but it's just me.

  I transformed back into a normal person and my red locks went down my back. I was still in my clothes but I took my shoes off. I took my wand out of my back pocket and accioed my bag and it flew to me. I put my shoes in it and sat there for a moment and took in a deep breathe of the pine.

I was about to get up when I saw a black dog come prancing up to me looking starved. He sat down in front of me and wagged his tail. I looked at his eyes and found no trace of viciousness. I smiled and opened my bag and grabbed a box from my bag.

I kept food for animals in it. I opened it and a smell of meat came from it. There were potatoes and steak in this box. I put in front of the dog. He looked at me grateful and ate it while I sat there.

When he was done he barked in thanks. I smiled and said "your welcome."

When he was about to leave I decided to tell him my name.

"I'm lauretta by the way. Lauretta Potter. Sure you can't understand me probably but just wanted you to know. I'm a Slytherin as you can tell by my robes probably but I don't fit in there. People there whisper about me. How I'm to sweet and not worthy of my blood status. Like I care. Weird I'm talking to a dog." I said laughing at the end.

The dog stopped and turned around. He hesitated for a moment but ran up to me and gave me a kiss on my forehead before running off. I smiled and packed everything away. I stood up and went back to the castle. I slipped inside and transformed into my animagi. It was almost curfew and I wasn't about to get caught.

I rushed back to the Slytherin common room bag on my waist. I made it and made sure no one was around. When I was sure I transformed back and said the password. There were a few seventh years in there but that was about it.

They don't really mind me so I was fine. I walked up the stairs and entered my room. "Look what the cat finally dragged in!" A voice said making me pause. I continue my way to my bed ignoring pansy.

"How long did you think you could hide loser! Sure we've never seen you but I mean come on couldn't hide forever!" She said making the other girls nod in reply except for Astoria. She really didn't mind me and we mostly kept to ourselves.

"Guys leave her alone. Really! She doesn't want trouble." Astoria put in.

"Quiet Astoria you have no idea what this girl is like!" Pansy hissed.

"Unlike you I've actually acknowledged her existence!" Astoria yelled standing up from her bed.

I had set my bag down and grabbed my pajamas when this happened. I turned back around to everyone my face actually showing for once. Pansy was there fuming in anger and the other girls were cowering in slight fear of Astoria. She's never spoken out of line.

"Astoria leave it. I'll be alright. You just get your rest." I said making her nod and calm down.

I went to the bathroom and changed quickly before leaving the bathroom. I put my clothes on my trunk and grabbed my bag. I opened it and got my homework stuff out and got to work. The other girls were asleep but pansy was awake. Wide awake.

"You really shouldn't even try you know! Oh and by the way stay away from my dracy! Hes mine!" She hissed at me as I was in the middle of my last assignment.

"Kinda can't with him chasing ME all the time." I muttured under my breath.

She glared at me and started going on and on about how they were gonna get married and when they were I would be killed. I just rolled my at how her imagination works and finished my assignment. I put it in my bag and when she glanced at Astoria I hid it.

I turned my light off and tucked my necklace into my shirt. Harry doesn't know I have it and no one else does. Mom and dad's wedding rings are on it. While harry got dad's cloak I got their wedding rings. I had gotten them last year actually from professor snape.

It was just the rings but I begged Aunt petunia to get me a chain and she eventually gave in. She gave me one and I put the rings on it. Since then I haven't taken it off.

I glanced outside and saw the stars. Pretty bright. Even if we were in the dungeon I could see them. I fell into a dreamless light sleep looking at them.
