It's been a few days from Christmas and I was discharged from the hospital wing.
Classes had begun again and I was heading to potions. Luckily I had my old schedule back so I was now back in seventh year potions for the second year in a row.
I would be taking my potion N.E.W.T.S...yay...
I opened the door and felt eyes on me. I went and sat down by the front of the room and got my notebook out. I was copying the notes on the board when Snape entered the room.
Everyone quickly sat down and quiet down waiting for instructions. Seriously! It's on the board. "Well at least I know one student in this class pays attention." Snape said.
"The notes have been on the board this whole time. I would've expected you to be writing when I entered but to no avail." Snape said.
"Well..what are you waiting for? Start writing!" Snape hissed at us. I was almost done with my notes when I noticed he put a fake fact in there. I rolled my eyes and fixed it with what it really was.
I finished my notes and put my journal in my bag. I grabbed my potions book out and began jotting down things I though would update the potions. That's when it was snatched out of my hands.
I turned around and found it in Cedric's hands. I took it back and glared at him. "No one touches my journal and that includes you. " I told him when Snape wasn't looking.
"Alright." He said going back to his notes.
I finished writing what I could in it before putting it back in my bag. I collected my ink and quills and put them where I normally would and closed my bag.
I stood up and went to the door. The bell rang and I left the classroom. I was halfway down the hallway when I felt a hand grab mine.
"Hey Cedric." I said.
"You have transfiguration next right?" He asked.
"That's right." I told him nodding.
"Well I have a free period. So why don't I walk you there." He said.
"Of course kind sir." I said smiling.
Walking up the stairs I felt people looking at us. Whatever. We made it to McGonagall's classroom.
"This is my stop." I told him. He kissed me lightly.
"Have a good class." He told me pulling away.
He let go of my hand and I walked into transfiguration. I went and sat down by harry. He looked over before looking away.
I shrugged it off and turned to face the front when the bell rang.
Classes ran by quicker than I expected. I was walking around after my final class, divination, and walked to the court yard.
I walked through it to reach the front of the school. I walked down the stone steps and walked twords the forest.
I took my shoes off and walked in. I didn't know where I was going. I just walked. I just walked and walked till I found a stump.
Not that it mattered. I set my bag on it with my shoes and walked even deeper into the forest. I came to a clearing. It had daisy's everywhere. I fell into the grass. I layed there looking at the cloudy sky.
The clouds were grey. Like it might rain. The snow had gone from a few days ago. But it was still winter. But this place. I felt like spring. I heard thunder in the distance but layed here.
A droplet of water fell onto my face. Then more droplets of water. Till it was a full on down pour. Did I leave?
I debated on it. But I stayed laying here in the daisy field. I took in a deep breathe. The smell of rain will always clear my mind.
