  February 23,

Laurettas p.o.v

I had just gotten out of muggle studies when I was ambushed.

"My godric!" I yell as I land on my bottom.

"Sorry. Thought I'd surprise you." Cedric said helping me up.

"Not by creeping up behind me and scaring the living hell out of me." I say smacking his arm.

"Rude." He said grabbing my hand.

"How about we walk down to the black lake?" He asked me.

"Can't. I told Hermione I would do homework with her." I tell him.

Yeah. Hermione and I became friends. Long story short...Harry left us alone for five minutes. In the library.

"I'll sit with you at dinner." I reassured him.

"Deal." He said letting go of my hand.

"Now! I better be on my way." I told him.

"Alright. See you at dinner." He said kissing me lightly before heading off to who knows where.

I sighed lightly. I hate lying to him. I quickly hurried to McGonagalls office not wanting to be late.

I stepped in and she was at her desk. "Now. Ms.Potter I believe you have the spell correct?" She asked me.

"Yeah. Here." I tell her handing her a book. She flipped it to the page marked and read it over.

"Thank you dear. You can do your homework now." She told me before going to read the spell.

I whistled lightly. Soon my owl showed up. I got him a bit ago. A great-horned owl. He was a light grey with speckles of black across his face.

I scribbled a note quickly asking Hermione to vouch for me in case Cedric or Harry asked where I went.

Quickly Hades flew out of the window again. Yes, his name is Hades.

I sat down at one of the desks and got to work. After a while I finished what little I had left.

"Mr.Ligten. Thank you for coming. Please retrieve these students for me after dinner." McGonagall said handing him a piece of parchment.

I looked at my watch and saw it was ten till dinner. Might head down now. Great hall is a bit away.

"I'll be heading down." I tell her.

"Be back after you drop your stuff off in the Slytherin common room." She told me. I nodded and left her room.

Making my way down to the great hall I walked over to a certain curly headed boy.

"Hey ced. Your princess is here." One of his friends said while smirking.

"Very funny Davies." I tell the boy.

"I'm anything but a princess." I say taking a seat by Cedric.

"Whatever." He said jokingly before starting up a conversation with Amelia.

"How was doing homework?" Cedric asked me.

"Boring as always." I mutter leaning my head onto his shoulder.

After a bit of conversing dinner began.

I wasn't that hungry tonight surprisingly.

I had a good amount of mashed potatoes and some green beans. "You okay Etta? Your not eating much." Cedric commented seeing my plate.
