Yule Ball!

   (This is quite long so be prepared)

  It's been around a month since the first task and my shoulder has healed most of the way and should be healed completely in a few days. Thing was the day we plan for it to be fully healed is the day of the yule ball!

Astoria had dragged me out of the castle down to hogsmade to go dress shopping. We walked into the shop and most of the wracks were empty. Most likely because astoria decided to wait so no one would see my dress apparently.

Not likely. She has been studying every weekend so I had to wait to go shopping so she could come with me. That's the real story there! We looked around and didn't find anything till one dress in the back caught my eye.

I picked it up and looked at it. It was beautiful in my opinion. How had no one bought it. I went to the changing rooms and slipped into it. I looked at myself in the mirror and twirled around in the dress. It felt amazing.

I knew at that moment this was my dress. I slipped back into my original clothes which was a bit hard due to my shoulder but I got it! I looked at the price and cringed a bit but took it to Astoria so she could see it. She gasped at it and began squealing.

"It's beautiful lauretta! Your getting it right!" She said to me.

I nodded but then heasitated. "What is it?" She asked me.

"It's the price. A bit out of my budget Astoria." I told her. She looked at the tag and shrugged.

"I'll get it for you." She said smiling.

"But!" I told her.

"Hey! Let it be a late birthday gift. I never found you anything remember." She said taking the dress. I hugged her so tightly and she returned it.

"You truly are amazing." I told her smiling. She quickly paid and we headed to the shoe shop. We quickly found some flats and decided to use the jewlery and makeup we already had. We headed back to the castle and ran into Harry and Cedric who were chatting about something.

Hiding the bags behind my back I tried to shuffle away with Astoria. Key word! Tried.

Harry spotted me. "Hey sis. What you got there? " He asked me. Cedric turned his head to look at me and smiled.

"Anyone but Cedric can see this!" Astoria said taking the bags and running off.

"I'm guessing that was your dress?" He asked.

"Bingo." I told him and Harry.

"Awe man! I wanted to see it!" Harry said.

"Your sounding like a girl now." I said stuffling a laugh.

"Am not!" Harry argued back.

"Yeah huh! But you'll see it at the ball. Come find me before the dance if you want to see it before Ced." I told Harry.

"Hey! Why does he get to see it first! Your my date." Cedric said complaint like a child.

"Well he's my brother and he needs to approve. " I said walking up to Cedric.

"I already approve so I'm better. After all everything looks good on you." He said making me blush a bit.

"Oh hush! That's not true! For example. I look horrid in pink." I told him.

"It's true." Harry said. The one thing we agreed on as kids. I looked horrible in pink and I distasted the color a ton.

"Anyway! I gotta get my shoulder checked." I told them.

"Alright. See you at dinner sis." Harry said.

"Bye Etta." Cedric said.

"Bye guys." I said heading up the stairs without realizing eyes on my back till I was out of sight.
