I swam as quick as I could back to shore making sure nothing caught my leg this time. I had reached the dock and by that time Harry was gone.
Cedric grabbed me from under my arms and pulled me up. "Yeesh you're soaked." He told me.
"I can tell." I said rolling my eyes at his obvious statement.
"Why did you jump out there anyway?" He questioned me.
Should I tell him?
"Nothing..just felt like going for a swim." I told him.
"All the way out there...c'mon lauretta, I'm not stupid." He said narrowing his eyes at me. I slipped the wand up my shirt out of his reach.
He grabbed my arms from out behind me, but they held nothing. "Look I gotta go." I told him. I did a wandless quick dry spell before slipping my clothes back on before heading to ancient runes.
He doesn't need to know. When I was out of sight I slipped the wand from under my shirt to my bag. Can't risk it falling. I'll look into it after class.
I sat there coding out old symbols and yawned. "When will I ever need these symbols." I complained shutting my book and slamming my head on the desk.
"A lot more often then you think ms.potter." the professor told. Since I wasn't at durmstrangs and I know how to get around the castle I have normal classes. Did I ever explain that?
Sorry must have skipped it. The bell rang and I quickly rushed out heading off to potions. Double...great...but oh well.
I opened the classroom door and everyone quickly covered the seats by then. Everyone but...Malfoy. You have got to be kidding me. I rolled my eyes and sat down dropping my bag on the ground. "Don't even try." I hissed at him as his mouth opened.
"Yeesh Potter. Thought you would want to talk." He scoffed rolling his eyes.
"Well maybe if you hadn't stalked me my whole first three years then maybe I would've talked to you." I told him with a little attitude.
"Well it's not my fault your attractive." He said all the while smirking.
"Oh drop it Malfoy." I said a small blush creeping up onto my cheeks.
"Whatever you say lauretta." He sighed and began twirling his wand between his fingers.
Seriously..first name and now last. What is up with him? Luckily the bell rang and Snape came waltsing in. Not really it was more of a glide I guess. "You will be brewing a sleeping potion. Page 432 go." He said in his regular monetone voice.
That's so easy though! I rolled my eyes and went and grabbed my ingredients. I sat down and grabbed my couldron. I turned the burner on high and set my couldron in it. "You seem pissed Lauretta." Draco whispered.
"It's annoying on how he gives us baby potions." I whispered back.
I grabbed my charcoal liquid and scooped out a cup of it. Yes a cup! I dumped it into the couldron and waited a few minutes before stirring it clockwide twice. I took a piece of lepracan hair and dropped it in before putting a piece of unicorn hair in. The potion turned a silver red.
I quickly grabbed my widow legs and began slicing them. I picked them up not bothered by the little nails digging into my skin and dropped them into the potion. It faded to a dark red.
I set the burner to a medium heat and stirred for about thirty seconds before stopping. The potion changed to an orange. "Lauretta are you sure your doing it right? You're not even looking at your book." Draco whispered looking at me.
