Logan was inside the lab, and Shuri was measuring his height and size. "I must say, you are very tall Mr. Howlett," commented Shuri. She smiled at him. "So you're not only the princess, but also an inventor?" asked Logan. "Yes, yes I am," replied Shuri, "and I think I might have something for you to wear. Give me a minute." She then walked off. Steve smiled. "She's got spirit, I can tell you that," said Steve. "From what I heard, you were a soldier too, right?" Logan. "You heard correctly," replied Steve, "and I know what it's like, thinking you're dead, only to wake up and find yourself in a different world."
"Except you weren't impaled on a tree," joked Logan. "Fair enough," said Steve. "You guys call yourselves The Avengers, eh?" Logan asked, and some of the members nodded, Rocket and Nebula being the exception. "I was part of a team myself," said Logan, "we called ourselves the X-Men. Guess this shouldn't be too different for me." Shuri then walked back in with a suitcase. "This was something I built when I was younger," explained Shuri, "I realized how obscure it looked and scrapped it. But I guess it's better not to let a good idea go to waste." She then opened up the suitcase, revealing the costume.

Logan looked at the suit nonchalantly. He'd been trying his damnedest to avoid wearing such a suit. But, it would only seem inevitable that he would end up wearing it, one way or another. Rocket looked at the suit, and started to snort, trying not to laugh at the suit. This earned a death glare from Shuri. "I'll tolerate it," said Logan, "anyway could you adjust the knuckles for these?" He then revealed his Adamantium claws, popping out of his knuckles.

Shuri looked at his claws in amazement. "That metal is fascinating," she said brightly, "I'll see what I can do. Your suit contains vibranium laced to behave like a cloth. Allow me to make a few adjustments." Much later, Shuri redesigned Logan's costume. He put on the costume, looking at himself in the mirror.
