-KASEY'S POV-
I felt really bad for not being able to answer Ricky's calls. But, I was also angry at the text he sent me. He wrote those words as if I were one of his bimbos, it crashed my heart to know that there was a possibility he might see me as one of his whores. And I couldn't accept that.
Yesterday Ricky didn't call or text me but I couldn't bother myself with the Ricky drama on a Sunday. Today was Monday and since I rode with Ricky to school I knew I had to face him. Ricky always came to fetch me an hour before school started so that we have some "alone time".
I got ready for school. I wore a white sundress with my pink ballerina shoes. My closet was filled with every colour of ballerina shoes, they were just simple.
I walked downstairs into the kitchen and made myself some cheerios. Mom was still asleep because I woke up earlier now cause Ricky picked me up early.
I waited for Ricky outside on my front porch. I knew he'd show up anytime soon now.
I waited...
And waited...
And waited...
I pulled out my phone and checked the time, it was now 6: 47 and Ricky always showed up at 6. This is strange. I'm confused why he didn't let me know that he wasn't going to pick me up. Well, long walk to school, here I come.
I was walking alone in the street, with cars passing by.
*beep* * beep*
I heard a car behind me, I was so happy. I thought Ricky had abandoned me. I turned around to face the car with a huge grin on my face but as soon as I saw who the car belonged to, my smile dropped.
"Need a ride little witch?" Brad popped his head out the window.
I guess it was better than walking right? I was so mad at Ricky. I was now mad about the text and I was also mad that he didn't let me know that he wouldn't be picking me up, but I was more hurt then angry.
I got into Brad's car - the back seat of course. And we drove off. Brad kept blabbering about something, but I was too busy thinking about Ricky to listen to him, plus he might be throwing insults at me.
We got to school and guess what I saw at the school's entrance? yep, I saw Ricky Parker laughing with his friends like there was nothing wrong.
I stared at him with so much rage and anger. I hoped maybe he got hit by a truck and was in a hospital so he wasn't able to pick me up. 'thats kind of evil, don't you think?' my inner voice spoke.
I was still dead frozen on my spot staring at Ricky. He shifted his gaze from his friends and turned his eyes to me and made a disgusted look before turning his gaze back to his friends and laughed at a joke Stanley just made.
If he thinks I'm going to go to him and beg for forgiveness he got it wrong. I'm Kasey Steel, if he thinks I'm one of his plastic barbies then he has got another thing coming.
I walked to the school's entrance where Ricky was with his friends. I could almost see Ricky's lips forming into a smile of satisfaction. He was standing in front of the entrance door. I stopped in front of him and looked up at him.
"Excuse me, you are blocking the way" I said with a bored face.
Ricky's smile turned into a shocked expression his jaw dropped to the floor. Now it was my turn to put on a smile of satisfaction. I brushed passed him when he didn't move and headed into the school. In your face Ricky Parker!
I saw Wendy and Tracy at Wendy's locker where I always found them.
"Wow Kas, you look like you just won a million bucks, did Ricky get it on? " Wendy said wiggling her eyebrows at me.
