McKayla's POV:

A few weeks have passed and it's been pretty much hell. It's been killing me not traveling to the track mostly because I don't get to see Ryan and the kids as often as I would like. My doctor put me on bed rest up until I give birth which sucks I can't stay in one place. Apart of me felt relieved as well, my back was killing me this pregnancy.

Earlier this week Lennox gave birth to a beautiful baby boy, Bryant Elliott. With Chase being disabled for the time being mom has been over there 24/7 taking care of Chase, Lennox, and the kids. Chase's memory has improved with time, he finally knows who his sister is.

"Ryan Blaney starting tenth this race, being one of the most successful drivers in this sport you would guess there is a lot of pressure on him. But racing isn't Ryan's highest priority. Chris Myers sat down with Ryan Blaney to discuss how his family has played a role in his success."

"Ryan, thanks for coming."

"No problem, I'm glad to be here."

"You are the top guy around here and have been ever since your first season. Five championships, endless amount of wins, stage wins, top fives, top tens. A guy like you pretty much have everything figured out."

"Some could say that but it defiantly wasn't easy getting to where I am today. I am still learning every day, I still make mistakes. I don't think everyone always has it figured out."

"You have a beautiful family on this crazy ride with you. McKayla, your wife has been by your side since your rookie year. What role has she played in your career so far?"

"It's crazy to think back and how far we've both come both in our personal relationship and our personal careers. But McKayla she keeps me grounded. I'm afraid to even imagine what kind of person I'd be if I didn't have her. She tells me what I need to hear and not what I want to hear. I know her love for me is what is keeping my head above water. She's more than just my wife and my best friend, she's a coach too. She has learned so much about this sport. She'll tell Jeremy exactly what I need for the next pit stop. Occasionally she'll take over the radio to give me a pep talk if I'm frustrated. She's a woman of many talents."

"Over the past years, you and McKayla have created quite a large family. Peyton, the twins Summerlyn and Noah, Briella who you adopted, and any day now you will have another little girl. Anything you've learned from your children?"

"Just have fun with life is one of the biggest things. Defiantly they have taught me to be a better role model. One day they're probably going to look back at these races and I want them to see the best version of myself. McKayla and I try so hard to teach them that their dreams can come true if you work for them and that they're not going to happen overnight. Whether they decide to race or choose a different career path, we want to teach them nothing in life comes easy."
