Shadow is usually up early due to it being habit. He could have no sleep; and still be fine, but on rare occasions he will stay in bed. On these rare occasions, you are with him.
You had woken up around 8am due to an alarm Shadow had gotten you. He claims it will help you in the long run, but sometimes a mobian just wants to go to sleep on a Tuesday and wake up on a Friday. You stretched as you got up from bed. The light was shinning brightly through the glass, casting rays of light into the room. Perfect for reading a book, or playing a game, maybe just eating... as your stomach rumbled you agreed with your last thought to eat in your room. Quickly getting dressed, and fixing your "living dead" look from sleeping, you walked out of the room and showed yourself to the kitchen. Shadow had passed you in the hall, but not without informing you that he had made you breakfast. It was small, but from his instructions, a mobian can only assume he wanted you to come back to bed and lay down with him. After reaching the kitchen and getting a glass of water with your breakfast, due to the fact Shadow won't let you drink anything else besides water within the house. You only spilled juice one time, making him ban every drink that would be difficult to clean up. Sure the carpet was new, and pricey, and the fact it was the same day he had bought it that you spilled... but who cares? Water is good for you anyways. You ate the small breakfast within three minutes whilst checking for new texts sent from friends. Nothing important caught your eyes, just small jokes and updates in recent conversations. After cleaning up your dishes; it had been a total of seven minutes since you had passed Shadow in the hallway. You could only imagine his face sleeping soundly, or perhaps reloading his guns? You can never be to sure with the red striped hedgehog. Walking back into your room; you saw a sight you didn't really expect. The only solution is that you must have put your alarm on snooze by accident, instead of turning it off, but he seemed to be enjoying the music,

Upon your return, Shadow had looked up to you before mumbling a quick "I was going to read, but your music seemed interesting," before sitting up.

You could only smile and walk over to him and crawling next to him. "What were you going to read?" Shadow had moved his back to the glass and embraced you into a hug. Your back was now against his chest, as he had turned you and laid his head on your shoulder, "Your going to read it now, I want to hear your voice..."
This Hedgehog could be so... cuddly in the morning, but that's just a little quirky of his only you could see.
