A/n: I'm not done with these night/morning scenarios!
Mephiles surprisingly did sleep. Although he had difficulty, more so than anyone else in Mobius. Amilon, the hedgehog whom was injected with some of the darkness Mephiles was made of had informed you of how Mephiles was. Regarding the fact he was trapped in the scepter of darkness for so long; he came to dislike the dark and had gained to fear it in a way, Amilon had helped him with it, but you had gotten him to sleep without having nightmares of being trapped once more.
It was 12:36PM when the movie ended. What movie? The Quiet Place. Why? Amilon. Reason? Amilon had decided it was time for the both of you too become "Friends". Real motives; he wanted to get to know his "future sister". You swore he had a baseball cap with "(Y/n) + Mephiles" in a heart. Most likely a black hat with the heart outline and words being magenta or maybe maroon...
"Are you going to him now?" You snapped out of your thoughts as Amilon had stuck his head into your line of sight, he held a popcorn tin that resembled a chaos emerald; it will light up slightly when completely filled, he claims it's his finest invention. "Oh, yeah... I suppose he would be in bed right now..." sitting up, Amilon had watched as you began to quickly clean. He soon dismissed you once he saw you check the time twice all in one minute. You picked up your pillow and began to make your way to Mephiles's room, leaving Amilon to cleanup, he may have no mouth, but his eyes showed joy; for his brother, for you, and for him on having a small family.
Finally reaching Mephiles's room you turned changed the light's setting to the lowest it could go before turning it on. A sigh left your lips as you held back a chuckle,

Mephiles had been tired since using a large amount of his power for the both of you. It was a fun trip, but nothing could quite beat cuddling with the dark hedgehog at night.
You scooted yourself next to him, keeping a small distance just for the case of waking him up. The only thing you could quite think of at the moment was why did he have-
"Such a small bed, is it not?" Mephiles had opened his eyes only to stare at you. Your mouth was open slightly in surprise as he pulled you closer, but not before turning onto his side.
You uttered a quiet "Then why did you get it?"
You simply felt his chest rumble with an airy chuckle, "It is so you have no excuse but to stay closer to me during the night."

(Y/n): "You still have your bigger bed though, right? As much as I enjoyed that cheesy line, sleeping on such a small bed is going to ruin our backs."
Mephiles: "Of course, if I only had this small thing, how could I ever have the pleas-"
Soooomeeee- Amilon: *Breaks through door* BODY ONCE TOLD ME
Mephiles: "-ure of you sleeping next to me again..."
