A Night Alone

(There are 16+ jokes/phrases, due to us making a persona for Venice and I find him to be like that.
Anyways I tried to make this; well the way it is. Tell me if it worked or not; GOOdnight mobians! ❤️

Venice was never the one to go falling for someone. He preferred to be alone, despite his  twin - Silver- wanting him to socialize more.
It wasn't that he didn't like socializing... it just whenever he went somewhere Mobians refer to him as "Silver's counterpart" or "The meaner one", and rare occasions they'd even call him "Silver's anti".
Yeah, no.

So he'd usually walk around at night like a pedo. Every night, for at least three hours... 11:35PM-2:35PM.
Nothing could stop his weird habits, the signs saying "No Trespassing", the thugs wondering about, not even his own brother.
Venice would simply... walk. He'd walk like he had something to look forward too when he came home.

But at one point in his life he did. He had that one... something... well, someone that made him look forward to when the sun rose up in the sky.

He couldn't get over how cheesy he felt around the Mobian...

____Flashback to one night during that tranquil time___

Venice had opened the back door to the house and snuck in. Hoping he'd see nothing within the first three rooms; but luck, nah karma, decided to come early.

The lights turned on showing your face, stopping Venice from going down the hallway to your shared room.

"Venice, it's 3:46 in the morning," The sound of disappointment left your lips as his left ear twitched. He'd done nothing upon hearing the words, but still stood aloof at the hallway entrance.

"Venice... I'm scared. Eggman has been attacking everyone nonstop and this..."

Venice turned around, only to see you looking into the floor,

"This guy- this Infinite... he won't cease his attack on Sonic..."

He took a step forward to you as he was now fully aware on how scared you were,

"The rookie..."

Another step, and he could see the tears starting to roll down your face,

"Shadow, we cant find him..."

There was the hiccup, he was only about a foot away from you now, but your eyes had been shut since you said Shadow's name,

"Venice he almost got Silve- !!!"

It all happened to quick; You were about to lift your head, before gravity decided to abandon you, or more so something else had moved you forward. The feeling of being weightless was all to familiar, as was the arm that had been placed onto your waist, holding you to the white hedgehog's body. His free hand had moved to the back of your head and pushed it to his chest so he would be able to kiss the top of your head.

You could only shake in fear as the world outside seemed to be crumbling down.

"I'll protect you and I'll protect my brother and all that you two care about, I promise you."

You shook whilst asking, "but who'd protect you...?" He simply dismissed your question and carried you to bed.
Upon reaching the bedroom he looked to your face to see you had fallen asleep. The odd thing was, even with your reared stained face, he still found you beautiful.

He had placed you down onto the bed were your back was facing the window, before getting into bed himself. He sat awake, leaning his back to the cold wall while listening to the wind outside get stronger.
