I pull the computer screen up, so I can see what I was facing. It was monitoring the readings from the cube, and how the portal was doing, making sure it was stable. I look back at Erik, who lays on the gravel floor, I quickly made my way towards him. Pulling his shoulders so he would be laying on his back, he had a cut on his forehead, it was bleeding. I place my hands over his wound, and suddenly a warm orange glow emitted from my palms, shining down on his wound. His wound started to seal up, the blood rushing backwards back into his head, and then the wound closed up, my hands dimmed and soon enough they were diminished. His wound had completely healed, his forehead had no scar, no blood, like nothing happened to him, but he was still unconscious.

I patted his shoulder, as he slightly stirred, but not fully awake. I turn back to the device that pulsed the energy into the sky, letting the portal remain open. I could try and orb the Tesseract out of its position. I roamed back to the front of the device, standing in front of it, looking at the cube dead on, as its energy flew around it.

"Tesseract," I commanded, blue orbs wrapped themselves around the cube, but the orbs were bounced back off, vanishing after they were swirled around. Damn! It was worth a shot. I look up to see more aliens come from the portal. A spell might not work in this case or I would need the power of three to make the spell stronger, but I couldn't risk my family to this type of danger, they had families to look after.

Suddenly, my name was being called, but I needed to stay on the roof to keep track of the cube and figure how to close it. My name was being called frequently; it was Thor. Just then, my head fell to my chest. My eyes closed with no warning. Forced Astral Projection. My eyes snapped open quickly, to see I was standing behind Thor, but none of the other's had noticed.

"Why are you saying Jessica's name?" Cap had asked. As he looked to Thor with a weird expression.

"I think he wants my help," I state as all heads suddenly turn to me, their expressions plastered with shock.

"Where the hell did you come from?" The man with the bow and arrow's spoke. I think it's Agent Barton, as he is unknown to me, until now.

"Never mind that, how's the device," Thor had cut Barton short, as he looked to me for answers.

"Well, it's stable, and nothing I do is having any effect on it," I state as I look between him and Cap.

"How do we do this?" Natasha asked, as she looked between us all.

"As a team," Cap replied with confidence.

"I have unfinished business with Loki," Thor states as he looks to Cap.

"Don't we all," I replied smugly, as Barton nodded his head in agreement.

"Save it. Loki's gonna keep this fight focused on us and that's what we need. Without him these things could run wild. We got Stark up top, he's gonna need us..." Before Cap could finish his marvellous speech, Dr. Banner arrives on a small motorbike. It makes some right noises. Before he comes to a halt and gets off.

"So, this all seems horrible," Banner spoke as he reached us from the motorbike.

"I've seen worse," Natasha replied to Banner's comment, making him stare at her with an apologetic look.

"Sorry,"

"No. We could use a little worse," she replied, giving him a hint of a smile.

"Stark? We got him," Cap states over the comms, but I didn't get an earpiece, so I couldn't hear what Tony was saying. "Just like you said,"

Just then, the large worm type thing, comes crashing down the road and into a building on a sharp turn. All of us looking straight at it, getting ready for it. I stood next to Thor as he swirls his hammer in his hand, letting out an angry grunt sound.

"I... I don't see how that's a party," Nat states as she looks down the road at the big creature swooping down towards us. It was knocking into buildings and crushing cars on it's way to us. Banner steps forward to face the monster.

"Dr. Banner. Now might be a really good time for you to get angry," Cap states, as Banner turns to look at him for a second.

"That's my secret, Captain. I'm always angry," he states, and before my eyes he started to swell, stretch and harden into the colour green. Soon enough he was large and green, the creature came close and Banner strikes it into the head, making it stop but flipping it forward with the force, making it's amour break. Then Tony shoots a rocket into the exposed part, and then the rocket explodes, making it's insides go everywhere, but Thor covers me with his large, sexy chest. To protect me from the damage.

The other Chitauri started to scream in pain as they lost theirs, as we all looked to the ones latching onto the buildings, not moving as they scream in anger now. I looked up to the portal to see that more large creatures began to come out to play.

"Guys," I state as they all look at me, but then to the portal above seeing what I was seeing.

"Call it, Cap," Tony states within his suit.

"Alright, listen up. Until we can close that portal up there, we're gonna use containment. Barton, I want you on that roof, eyes on everything. Call out patterns and strays. Stark, you got the perimeter. Anything gets more than three blocks out, you turn it back or turn it to ash," Cap states, pointing to roof tops and into the sky, down the road. Everywhere to give a good explanation.

"Wanna give me a lift?" Barton directs his question to Tony.

"Right. Better clench up, Legolas," Tony states as a joke in this matter but hey, we let it slip. Tony holds Barton tight as he flies him up to the rooftop.

"Thor, you've gotta try and bottleneck that portal. Slow them down. You've got the lightning. Light the bastards up," Cap states his command to Thor as he gives him a nod. Before he looks at me, I smile at him knowing I will be ok. He starts to lasso his hammer around and then takes off into the air.

"You, Jess and me, we stay here on the ground, keep fighting here. And Hulk..." He points to Banner as he states the word 'Hulk' flexing his index finger at him. "Smash," is the only word given that Hulk understands and smiles to himself before leaping from the ground on to the building to the side of us.

"Guys, you know I'm not actually here?" I state as both cock their heads to me, like they had no clue what I was on about. "Did Thor not tell you..."

"Tell us what?" Cap asked, but I shook my head and smirked.

"Never mind, I'll keep an eye on the device and try to shut it down. For our sake, I hope I find a way," but before they could speak, my Astral self-dispersed on them, before I reopened my eyes, and I was still standing on the Stark tower rooftop. Probably leaving them shocked with how the hell I did that.

Just then lightning struck at the neck of the portal, as the large creature was in the way, getting the most hits with the lightning, sending it backwards into the portal. Also making other creatures around it explode with their ride through the portal, at least it was getting them back, but Thor couldn't do this all day. I smile at the thought that Thor fights for this world and people on, and I think he's brave and really amazing for that.

But will we be able to stop this in time?

Only the Avengers could stop this with the help of each other...

And a bit of magic along the way...
