Run.

All you could think where how those eyes pierced through you. A thought you could never escape.

Keep running.

You feet smacked agaisnt the cold wet asphalt. The rain stung your skin.

Why is this happening?

Your feet left the ground and you fell back onto your butt. You look up shaking.

Fear.

Those piercing green eyes. He looked down at you with a blank expression. Tears stung your eyes threating to spill through. He held the umbrella over you.

"At least have some dignity. Get up."
His voice sharp like knifes. You scrambled to your feet quickly.

"Midgaurds."
He mumbles and rolls his eyes. A sharp pain ran through your leg and you wince up and mumble curse words under your breath. His eyes scann your body and land on your cut open pants leg that was soaked with blood. He looks up to your face and you bow to him apologizing for running into you. Pride swelled up in his chest. Did he need a royal subject? It would be necessary for a king, but she was just a midgaurdian.

"Please forgive me."
The words broke him out of his train of thought.

"How did you get hurt?"
A suprized look covered your face.

(Flashback)
"Sister!"
Blood trickled down her neck. You where shaking. You just watched as this man slit your big sisters neck. He truned back to you slowly and his dark green eyes sent shivers down your spine. Your body went cold as you watched her limp body hit the floor. He stalked torwards you slowly.
"Here little puppet."
His voice was deep and paralyzed you with fear. He slid the knife under your chin raising your head torwards him.
"Beautiful like your sister."
He hummed and his hand slowly slid to your neck. He gripped it and lifted you off the floor. You gasped for air. Squirming under his grasp. He brought you to eye level with him. You brought your knee up and kneed him where the sun doesn't exaclty shine. He dropped you and your fell to your knees. You heard something pop, but it wasn't enough to keep you from trying to scramble to your feet. He gabbed the knife at your leg and you screamed out in pain. You back handed him and forced yourself to your feet. You ran as fast as you could away from him.

(End of flashback)
His eye widened reading your mind. He quickly collected himself. You stood there silently tears pouring from your eyes. What was he supposed to do in this situation?

"I-I"
Your voice cracked trying to form a sentence. His eyes scanned you and he threw your arm over his shoulder.

"Lets get you cleaned up first. You'll be of use to me later."

He mumbled the last part leading you somewhere. You followed him not exactly sure what was going on. Next thing you knew you where standing in the one and only Avengers tower. Well, more like sitting in the Avengers tower. Some man in a purple shirt had your leg propped up on some weird thing. He poured rubbing alcohol on it and you hissed out in pain.
