Till Death Do Us Part (Tony)

The rain smacked against your bruised and battered skin. It stung at your open wounds causing you too mumble out curses. You had never fought so hard in your life. It was suprising that your legs could still carry you.

Tony.

He was the only reason your legs where moving as quickly as they where. You needed too find him. He wasn't coming through on the radio and you didn't see his suit flying around anywhere.

Where are you?

You leaned against a tree trying too catch your breath. Your body ached and your muscles throbbed.

You pushed off the tree and continued too wipe the rain out of your eyes. Thats when you saw it. The suit laying on the ground. Dents and scratches littered the exterior. It felt like your heart had stopped beating in your chest. Panick washed over you as you saw the faint glow of his ark reactor.

"Tony!"
You cried out and began too run. Pain rippled throughout your body, but you didn't care. All that mattered was his saftey. Your muscles screamed and your leg finally gave out. You braced yourself for the impact and mud flug everywhere as you made contact. The rocks scrapped over your elbows and hands. You let out a small cry and crawled over too the suit.

"Tony- TONY!"
you cried and attempted too rip the face mask off of the suit. Tears stung at your eyes. You didn't want his death too come so soon. You still needed him. The helmet piece finally came loose and you threw it aside.

His face was pale and you checked his vitals. Please be alive! Your fingers ran over his cool skin. Your vision blurred due too your tears. A faint heart beat could be felt and the ark reactor started too flicker on and off.

"No no no no!"
You mumbled and tore the rest of the armor off of him. You clicked on your radio.

"Some one help! It's Tony! Please!"
You pleaded too the machine and cupped his face trying too wake him up. The glow of his reactor flicked off and your breathing hitched.

"Don't you dare leave me!"
You yelled and leaned your forehead against his; tears spilling from your eyes.

You lay next too Tony's bed side and clung too his hand. They managed too replace his ark, but he has been unconscious since the battle and you had been the exact opposite. You haven't slept, ate, and you refused too leave his bed side too revive medical attention. It had been weeks. You laied your head next too your hands and cried.

You blamed everything on yourself. Bruce and Natasha tried too convince you otherwise, but you refused too hear it. If only you had been there, you could've prevented it from happening. If only you had gotten too him earlier. You bite the insids of your cheek trying too hold back the 7th anxeity/panick attack of the day.

The twitch of his finger caught your attention. You sat up quickly and squeezed his hand.

"Tony, can you hear me?"
You said softly. His busted, bottom lip moved slightly. You pressed the emergency doctor buttom over and over again.

You wiped your tears away from your eyes and a smile broke out onto your face as he turned his head towards you. His eyes cracked open slowly and he groaned.

"Woah, who turned on the lights?"
He muttered and squinted. Joy washed over you and you hugged him. You never wanted too let go ever again.

"Y/n, pain-ah."
He grunted and you pulled away quickly.

"A-are you okay?"
You asked, your voice cracked and tears of joy fell from your eyes. He squeezed your hand back and smiled weakly.

"Yeah, are you okay? You have a black eye."
He says and his eyebrows furrow together. A laugh escaped your lips and the doctor rushed in.

"He's awake?"
He asked with a shocked expression across his face. You nodded quickly and smiled. The nurses rush in after he said that.

"Will you finally let us give you medical now?"
He asked walking closer too you. You nodded slowly and looked over too Tony who was speaking with the nurses.
You missed him. You missed his chocolate brown eyes and his weirdly, handsome shaped beard. You missed the soft buzzing of his ark and the way his voice sounds.

"2 weeks!?"
Tony suddenly yelled and went too move, but the nurses pushed him back down. A laugh escaped your lips watching him. The doctor tended too your wounds and cleaned off the dry blood. You hadn't showered or anything since his was admitted.

"You need stitches."
The doctor said exaiming your legs.

"So how long do I have too stay here?"
Tony asked crossing his arms.

"Atleast another day or so. We need too do some check ups on you."
She said before walking out the door. You sat next too him newly cleaned and showered the team showed up too bring gifts too Tony. Bruce brought you and Tony some extra clothes for the night.

You smiled and placed your hand on top of his. He looked over too you and intertwined your fingers together.

"Thank you."
He said staring into your eyes. A blush spread across your face like wild fire.

"For what? Its my fault you are here in the first place."
You say looking away from his gaze and down too the floor. His grip on your hand tightened.

"Yeah, if it wheren't for you I wouldn't be here. I would be six feet under, so thank you y/n."
He said and kissed your hand. Tears stung at your eyes once more and you pulled him into a warm hug. Tears spilled from your eyes.

"I thought you where dead."
You sob into his neck. His fingers intangled in your hair.

"It okay y/n."
He says, soothing your racked nerves. You bit the inside of your cheek and hugged him tighter. He tried too ignore the pain rippling through his chest from your tight grip. He loved you and it pained him even worse to know how bad of shape you had been in. You sniffled and pulled away from him. His hand cupped your face and he wiped the tears from your eyes with his thumb. His eyes examined your bruised and tired face. He scooted over on the bed and patted the empty spot next to him.

"You need to rest." He says and winces as he moves on his side. You raised your eyebrow and laughed softly.

"I should be saying that to you." You say and lay next to him. His arm wraps around your waist loosely and you snuggled into his chest. "I missed you Tony." You say with a soft smile as you could hear the faint buzz from his ark.

"I missed you too Y/n."
