I don't really believe in love.
All those movies and stories are well... just movies and stories. They aren't real.
I guess the reason why I think love is fake is because my mom and dad divorced when I was young. They were always fighting in front of me. Dad hurt Mom, but it was because she always flirted with other men. So that's it. When they divorced, I decided to stay with Dad. I knew it was a better choice.
By the way, I'm Chassie. But I prefer to be called Jazz. And like I said, love's bull. Nothing real about it.
And that's what I believed until I met Adrian.
I was at the music store, looking for new music sheets to practice on my violin. I finally found one and as I walked to the cashier to pay for it, I accidentally bumped into a guy.
"Sorry," I apologized, but I didn't really look at him.
"Nah, it's all right," he said. He had a really nice voice. And that made me look at him.
He was about my age, with dark brown hair, the same deep brown eyes and he was well... cute.
I just nodded and proceeded to the cashier, not before I noticed the Canon music sheet he was holding.
But before I could get a better look, he was already out the store.
After that incident, I got home and immediately opened my Facebook account to see if my friend Chelsea already uploaded the photos from last night, during the cosplay convention.
By the way, I met Chelsea when I was in 5th Grade. She's a really pretty girl with reddish brown hair and emerald green eyes. In my eyes, she was perfect.
Anyways, as I was checking the pictures, I heard music.
But it wasn't really loud, just a soft, silent sound. I recognized the tune immediately. It was Canon in D Major.
I'd been practicing that on the violin for three months now.
Whoever was playing it is really good.
I tried to follow where the sound came from, and I didn't have to go that far.
It just came from the house beside ours.
And the guy who was playing the piano was the one I bumped into earlier.
To Be Continued.
