Friday came.
I woke up that day groaning. Adrian and I stayed up late that night to finish an essay our notorious English teacher forced us to make after he saw us passing notes.
The hot shower set the day right immediately, though. Then I noticed I forgot to pack.
How many days would we be staying there again? Three days and three nights? Crap.
But I had to get dressed first. I picked out a light cream skirt and a simple red shirt as I inserted my feet into the new Vans sneakers my Dad bought for me the night before.
Then I began to pack. Clothes were flying everywhere. In the end, I settled for three denim jeans, two shorts, five shirts (Captain America, a floral one, a navy kind one, a Hunger Games one and of course, my favorite One Direction shirt). I also packed two flip-flops just to be sure.
Suddenly, my phone rang.
"Hey Adriaaaan!" I slipped on my satin nightgown, and I decided to pack that up too.
"Hey, you all right?" he asked. "Come to the window for a sec,"
"Yeah, yeah. I'm fine, I just slipped," I came over to the window and see that Adrian is already dressed up.
"Nice shirt," Adrian turns off the call and grins at me. "So, are you ready to go?"
"Nah, just woke up," I check my watch and it's already 7:00. We agreed to meet up at the train at exactly 8:00 for the 8:15 ride. It takes a fifteen minute walk to get to the train station, and about ten minutes for the line-up. That doesn't include traffic. "On second thought, let me just grab some food and I'm ready to go,"
"OK," he laughed, "I'll see you at the bench,"
I quickly brushed my teeth and ran downstairs.
"Hey Dad!" I greeted him as I took some fairy bread from the counter.
"Have a safe trip honey," he said after giving me a kiss on the forehead. "Have fun, and practice hard!"
"Will do, Dad," I smiled as I went outside.
Adrian was standing there in all his handsomeness, holding one backpack and a folder in his other hand. "You're not bringing anything?" he asks, one eyebrow raised.
"Oh, crud," I could die from embarrassment. I ran back inside, bolted upstairs and quickly grabbed my hastily packed shoulder bag and my violin case.
Adrian was laughing the moment I got outside again. I gave him a death glare. "Oh, if looks could kill,"
"Nah, I think I'll die of laughter first," he laughed some more, wiping away a tear from his eye. "Let's get walking then,"
We had to fetch Lizzie from her house first, since we made an agreement with her mom. Talking with them made the fifteen-minute walk seem shorter.
We got in line when Lizzie tugged on the hem of my skirt. "What is it?" I asked.
"I haven't eaten my breakfast," she confessed shyly, as if she was confessing who the love of her life was.
"Lizzie! Adrian! Jazz!" Innes jumped up and down, waving his arms indicating where they were. So far, it was still him and Miss Higgins. After we got through, we went over to them.
"Hey, Liz," Innes grinned at her, then Lizzie blushed furiously, muttering a meek, "H-hey,"
"Chaz and Carter might be a little late," Innes explained, "In the mean time... can we please grab something to eat?"
"Why don't you go with them Jazz?" Adrian asked.
"Nah, I have some fairy bread with me," I looked at Lizzie and I think her eyes were sparkling when I said, "Innes and Lizzie could go together,"
