BlackGatomon is a champion beast Digimon of the virus Type. Salamon who get corrupted by evil thoughts evolve into BlackGatomon istead of Gatomon. They are deemed unworthy of carrying Holy Rings on their tails. Aside from their reckless and mischievous attitude, they behave almost exactly like a Gatomon. They use their Cat's Eyes to emit pulse waves that drive the opponent insane. The attack only has any effect if the opponent maintains visual contact with BlackGatomon.
