Pete: I stand at the door and there in front of me stands Joe Tate, what about?
Joe: please just let me in, I really need to talk to you
Pete: I nod my head and step inside to allow him inside, would you like a coffee or tea?
Joe: you got anything stronger?
Pete: I laugh, having a bad day
Joe: the worse, I sit down on the sofa
Pete: I get us both a beer, I sit down on the armchair opposite him handing him his drink so?, what did you want to talk about?
Joe: I know this sounds really weird but I need to ask about your relationship with Debbie, Ross's relationship with Debbie as well?
Pete: i look at him, I nod my head you want to know?
Joe: how serious it was, if she loved you/ him everything please be honest with me
Pete: I nod my head, me and Debbie we were pretty serious I mean we did get married so I guess you can't get anymore serious then that
Joe: yeah I guess you can't
Pete: I'm not gonna lie to you joe I loved her more then anything, she was everything to me
Joe: I nod my head, I know how that feels
Pete: she was at a low point when me and her got together, she'd been through a rough time with her ex
Joe: Cameron?
Pete: I nod my head, her head was messed up from all of that I mean I think it would be if you found out that you'd been sharing a bed with a serial killer
Joe: so did move things quickly?, slowly?, did you rush into things??
Pete: maybe a little bit, maybe we should have taken it a little more slower but I think the outcome would have been the same even if we had
Joe: I'm sorry
Pete: it isn't your fault Joe, me and Debbie I thought it would be forever but it wasn't and I accepted that a long time ago
Joe: your a nice guy, she was a fool to get rid of you
Pete: I smile, I remember our wedding like it was yesterday best day of my life
Joe: I nod my head, my heart hurts at hearing this but I have too
Pete: I mean when your fiancée's been lying to you it's going to come out eventually, just a shame it had to be on our wedding day
Joe: what happened?, on your wedding after you found out?
Pete: I was furious as you would expect, she told me that she "chose me", and I screamed back "it shouldn't have been a choice" then everything went black
Joe: I'm so sorry about your wedding, what a car crash I chuckle sadly
Pete: I smile, yeah well it wasn't gonna end well not when a marriage is based on secrets
Joe: and what about Ross?
Pete: Ross is Ross he's slept with so many girls but he's only ever loved 2 girls in his whole life
Joe: I look at him, only 2?
Pete: yeah, the first girl was Donna she was diagnosed with cancer, she chucked herself of a roof in front of Ross scarred him for life honestly, she was the first girl he loved
Joe: god that's awful
Pete: yeah she has a daughter with Marlon, she's called April
