Badass
[bad-as] adj
Someone who never looks back at an explosion"That bad, huh?" Cassandra asked as she watched Beth empty half a bottle of liquor into her cup.
"You have no idea." The strawberry blonde muttered.
"I also think we should cross the border at Windsor." Annie said as her and Ruby looked at a map of the Canada/US border. "Their border patrol's super nice there." Annie continued.
"How do you know?" Ruby asked.
"Let's just say I made a lot of "field trips" to Canada in high school." The blonde explained making crazy hand signals that were meant to explain that she smoked weed. "Why am I not surprised?" Ruby muttered.
"Anybody else?" Beth muttered, holding up the bottle of liquor.
"No, I'm cutting back." Ruby said.
"Now's not the time." Beth muttered.
"So we have the passports and we have directions." Annie said. "Now we just need a car. I would say we could take mine, but it got the boot."
"How many tickets?" Cassandra asked.
"Six is apparently the cutoff." Annie shrugged. "Now we know."
"Well, Stan needs ours for the kids." Ruby said.
"I don't want a bunch of heroin in my car." Beth said, partly to herself. "I drive my kids in that car."
"Good point." Annie said. "Could be residue."
"We should just borrow a car." Cassandra said.
"Or we could just steal one." Annie joked.
"Or we could borrow it and bring it back, Annie." Ruby said.
"From who?" Beth asked. The three other woman shared a look. "We've got Chevys. We've got Fords." Annie began, quoting Dean's advert. "We've got Chryslers, too." Cassandra said joining in.
"No." Beth said.
"So come on down to Boland Motors" Ruby joined in. "And we'll put the vroom, vroom, vroom back in your engine.
"I said, no." Beth said. Annie and Cassandra smirked at each other.
