I sat back up and smiled at them. I had always liked Toni but I felt that me moving here was great for our friendship. Cheryl was also a nice surprise. I didn't expect this girl who I assumed came from a lot of money, was actually dating a serpent and was super fun. Cheryl grabbed another handful of chips, while eyeing me curiously. "So Emily, what's up with you and Sweet Pea?" She asked me raising her eyebrows. "Nothing, he's just a good friend." I replied. "So that's why Fangs chased him with a frying pan yesterday at his house yelling, "I swear Sweet Pea try and make one more move on my cousin and I will hurt you." She interrupted. I started laughing again. "He's just overprotective." I shrugged. "Uh huh sure he is." Toni said looking at Cheryl. "Okay enough about him. Let's play a game." Cheryl said changing the subject. "Truth or dare." I groaned loudly and fell back onto my bed. "For that you are going first. Truth or dare?" She asked me. "I don't know, truth I guess." "Lame, but doable. Okay what did you and Sweet Pea do at the waterfall?" Toni sat up to listen to my answer. "We swam, talked, and ate. That and we may or may not have almost kissed." Toni and Cheryl squealed in unison. God, they were perfect for each other. "Wait. Almost? You didn't actually kiss?" Toni asked. "No, my phone interrupted us." "Ughhh, poor you." Cheryl said groaning. "Whatever, Cheryl truth or dare?" I challenged. "Dare." "I dare you to call the person of my choosing in your phone and flirt with them for 2 minutes." Cheryl's smirk dropped as Toni started laughing when she handed me her phone. I was scrolling through her contacts when their was a knock at my bedroom door. "Hey Em, there's a girl at the door, I think you should talk to her, all three of you." My mom said opening the door. I looked at the two other girls and we all got up walking out of my bedroom and down the stairs. I lead the way while Toni and Cheryl were hesitant to come out of my room. I opened the front door to find a girl that seemed confident and was very attractive just standing there. "Hi. Can I help you?" I asked her. "Yeah, um, is Cheryl here?" The mystery girl asked. "Her nana said she was." "Um yeah, how do you know her?" I asked turning to find Cheryl standing behind me, mouth hanging slightly open. "Heather." Cheryl whispered, to which Toni whipped her head towards the front door, coming up and possessively holding her hand. "Hey." The girl whispered back at her smiling. Okay what the hell is going on here? - - - A/N Boom. Drama. Sorry not much Sweet Pea this chapter but more next time I promise. If you don't know who Heather is, she was Cheryl's first love, but her mom chased her away from her, and then Heather left town. I was thinking Alisha Boe when Heather comes to mind.
