Finally I got fully dressed and then I left. I got into my rental car and drove off. It was only 6:25 am but knowing it's L.A I didn't know how the traffic would be.
~6:52 am~ I walked in and there was a lady at the front desk. "Hello" I say, trying to get her attention as her face was glued onto the laptop. "Oh hi!" The lady said, acknowledging my appearance. "I'm here for Rocco Star" I say, fidgeting with my fingers. "What's your name sweetie?" The lady said. She appeared to be around 50-55 years old. "Juliana Leblanc but I prefer to be called Annie." I say, smiling. "Mhm I see, now is your manager Nicole Maxwell?" (Made up) "Yes" I say, friendly. "Oh yes dear! Now they are waiting for you." The lady says, typing something on the laptop. "Yeah... where would that be?" I say, awkwardly. "Straight, then make a left at the end of the hall" the lady says. I do just that, I then see a label on the nice clear door marked "R. Star". It's now or never. I knock on the door and the one and only Rocco Star appeared at the door. "Ah!! You must be Annie! Welcome! Come in! Come in!" Rocco motions me to come in. I do as I'm told. "Hello!" I say, trying to sound as confident as ever. I walk in and see the recording already playing of the original of me singing on a disk. "Are you ready to record?" Rocco says giving me noise canceling head phones. "Thank you Mr. Star" I smile, taking the head phones. "Ohhh don't call me that! It makes me feel old! Just call me Rocco!" He says, patting my back. I just nod. "Now get in there and sing your heart out!" I get in and automatically start singing!
