North Carolina Chapter 2

My friends were upset, that made me upset. But now I'm here.. In this new place.. and I know no one. It's fall break here so I have a week to settle into my new life. The house is actually pretty cool, I have my own room and balcony. So yeah it's great! We are about an hour and half from the beach, oh and mom has a friend named Elizabeth that lives next door and she has some kids. I haven't met them yet but I'm sure I will..

"Renae, can you do me a favor?" Said my mother "yeah what is it?" "Can you please go to Elizabeth's and watch her daughter while she runs errands?" My mom said she had a begging look on her face like she need this done. "Yeah I guess" I said a bit tired.

I walked over to Elizabeth's house and rang the door bell. A sorta tall boy with I guess you can say shaggy hair style answered the door in a lacrosse outfit ran out the door. Then came out who I was guessing Elizabeth.

"Oh hi, I'm Elizabeth nice to meet you" she said, she was very nice "um I'm renae, my mom said that you need me to watch your daughter.?" I was kinda confused but it was alright. "oh my goodness thank you! I have to run hayes to lacrosse and my other son is with his friend Cameron and they will be here in a bit, Skylynn is watching tv and I will be out for a bit with errands and then I will go to work." I kinda caught on after a while she was saying this so fast. With that she thanked me and ran to the car.

I walked in the house and shut the door behind me, skylynn jumped up and ran to me and hugged me. "Hi I'm skylynn!! But you can call me sky" she was so happy. I told her my name and we watched some tv.
