JUNGSOON
As I slowly gain consciousness the next morning, the first thing that I notice is the morning chill that looms over me. I grasp at the warm cotton in my hands, pulling it closer to me to protect me from the cold.
Then it dawns on me that the warm fabric isn't bedsheets, but a sweatshirt sleeve. I open my eyes to reveal a clothed arm drooping over me while my head rests on Seokjin's shoulder. We must have fallen asleep watching the movie last night.
"Oppa," I whisper as I gently nudge him.
He slowly opens his eyes while simultaneously closing his mouth, replacing his gape with a smile when he looks at me. "Good morning."
"Good morning," I giggle awkwardly at our current position. "Sorry for falling asleep on you."
"Don't be sorry," Jin pats my head with his free hand, "your snoring really helped defuse the suspense of the film."
"Shut up!" I sit up and grimace at him, which triggers his windshield wiper laugh. It's an endearing laugh, even if it makes his normally handsome face look like Kim Kardashian's crying one.
"I'm just teasing. I know you didn't get much sleep the other night." His smile shifts ever-so-slightly, but I can't read the underlying meaning behind his words. As much as I'm curious, I drop the subject and decide to simply thank him for letting me sleep.
"Should we go wake up the rest of the guys?" Jin suggests as he stands to his feet.
"It might be smart to have them up now so they're not rushing to get out the door." I walk with him up the stairs as we split off to wake everyone up. I pop my head into Hoseok's room first, but he's already awake. There's no sign of Yuka, to my mild disappointment.
"Good morning, Noona," Hoseok chirps as he ties his shoes.
"Good morning, Hoseok. You're quite self-sufficient," I note, and he laughs.
"Please don't see me as a child! You're only my noona by a matter of months." He walks up to me, his smile shifting into a smirk as he towers over me. "I don't look like a kid to you, do I?"
"I never said such a thing," I promise him.
"Good," he chides, his cheerfulness reemerging instantly.
"Seokjin oppa and I are making breakfast," I tell him on my way out the door.
Next stop is Jungkook's room, which is locked. I knock on the door a few times, but there's no answer. "Jungkook?"
The faintest grumble comes from the other side of the door. At least I know that he's in there.
"Jungkook, you need to get up so we aren't late to the airport," I yell through the door, but he doesn't answer a second time.
"Jungkook!" I yell once more, starting to be annoyed with him for ignoring me.
The door creeks open a second later to reveal my brother's messy hair and sleepy eyes through the small crack. "Yes, Noona?"
"Breakfast will be ready soon. Are you ready to go to the airport?" I give him a curious expression as to why he's hiding behind the door. I figured he would be hungover after last night, but he doesn't have to try and hide it from me.
"No, I'll go get ready right now." He practically slams the door in my face, but I stop him with my hand.
"What's up with you? You're usually the first person awake." I look back at him in confusion, but he says nothing. "Jungkook?"
