JIMIN
"Hyung, where are you going?" Jungkook asks after dinner.
"I'm going to the park to write for a while." I lie so he'll let me go on without him. "I'll be back late, so don't wait up."
"Oh, okay Hyung..." He gives me a curious look, and I duck out of the restaurant before he can ask me anymore questions.
I want to get some roses on my way over to the hotel, so I use my limited English vocabulary to ask where the nearest flower shop is. They have every color imaginable, and I end up sticking with the classic white roses.
"Jimin?" A small voice calls as I'm walking out of the flower shop. I freeze and look over my shoulder toward the source, and I'm met with one of the girls that was in our The Truth Untold music video.
"Hey Angela," I smile and walk over to her to give her a hug, "I didn't know you were still going to be in New York."
"Yeah, I'm getting ready for fashion week, so I'll be here for the next month." She hugs me back and looks at the flowers in my hand. "Is someone on their way to a date?"
"You could say that." I smile shyly at her.
"I'm impressed," she smirks at me, "I didn't think you'd actually ask Jungsoon out."
I panic when she mentions Jungsoon. "What makes you think—"
"Oh, Jimin, you can't fool me. I've worked with you guys before, and I've never seen you act how you do with her. You couldn't stop staring at her." She glances down at the roses in my hand and back up to me. "You get going. Don't keep Jungsoon waiting."
"I won't." I smile and wave as I continue towards the hotel.
After about 7 wrong turns, I somehow finally make it to the hotel around 20:00, which still gives me an hour to shower up and get ready for Jungsoon to get here.
Charlotte booked us in an all grey and silver room that looks like it was out of that movie Great Gatsby that Yoongi loves so much. On the bed is the pajamas that I bought and had delivered to the room, along with all of the hot chocolate supplies that I could think of. It's supposed to be chilly tonight, so I got a couple of blankets for us to snuggle under so we can sit outside on the balcony and talk.
That is, after I've thoroughly apologized to her for being a total dumbass back in Los Angeles.
JUNGSOON
New York is awesome!
In the first 24 hours of being here I've gotten a hair transformation, explored a castle, and now am eating some of the best sushi I've ever tasted. You'd never know by the run-down storefront, but this tiny little shop has the biggest sashimi selection I've ever seen.
"All-You-Can-Eat sushi is my new favorite thing," I tell Jin with my mouth full of eel.
"It's awesome, right?" He smiles happily as he chomps down on another piece of salmon. "Do you want to order another round?"
"Perhaps just one more," I say while skimming over the menu again. After we've tallied off a few more hand rolls, we send the sheet back and wait for the next batch to come out.
"I'll have to bring you to my restaurant when we're back in Seoul." He smiles proudly when I look at him in surprise.
"You have a restaurant?" I ask with my mouth gaping.
