Yoongi takes my hands in his as soon as I reach where he's standing. He smiles sweetly, and I return it out of habit.
He does look nice in his suit, his hair neatly combed away from his eyes and rosy cheeks. Maybe I misjudged him too quickly.
"Lean in for the kiss," the director calls. I feel so awkward having the rest of the boys watching this whole exchange, especially considering the guy I just made out with a minute ago is among them.
Yoongi, however, is unfazed by their stares. He plays the part by gently cups my cheek and pulls my face to his, our lips pressing together lightly. I part my lips slightly to keep the kiss going, but Yoongi stiffens and jerks away.
"What are you doing?" He scrunches his eyebrows in scrutiny.
"We're supposed to kiss," I say sheepishly. I didn't expect him to freak out over having to do what the director asked.
"We just have to look like we're kissing," he hisses.
"Yoongi hyung," Hoseok calls to him, "Noona has never done this before. She didn't know."
"Whatever," Yoongi huffs while glaring at me. "Can we just keep going then?"
"Everything okay guys?" The director yells from the far end of the room.
"Yes, sorry! We're ready now," Namjoon assures him. "Hyung, let's just finish this scene so we can head back to the house."
"Alright," Yoongi steps back into place, unbothered by how embarrassed I am because of him.
"Okay guys, let's try this again," the director walks a bit closer to check the angles of the cameras. "Aaaaaaand action!"
. . . . .
"It's like kissing Jungkook," Yoongi gripes once we finally finish the wedding scenes, meaning that our day of filming has come to an end. Thank God.
"Well, you'll never have to do it again," I point out with an eye roll. "Oppa, I'm sorry for what happened earlier..."
"Don't call me 'oppa' when we're the same age. It's weird," he says dismissively before walking faster to catch up with Jimin.
"What is his problem?" I groan under my breath. How can so much meanness fit inside such a small person?
"What's for dinner?" Hoseok shouts over the boys' chatter.
"Barbecue," Namjoon answers, earning an eruption of cheers from the boys. A growl rumbles from my stomach as soon as I hear his answer. I guess I forgot to eat today with all of the excitement going on.
I begin walking toward the dressing room where we left all of our clothes to change, but Charlotte meets me in the hallway with my street clothes neatly folded in her arms and leads me into a bathroom before locking the door.
"Okay, I see what you mean about Yoongi," she says through the stall door. "He was so rude when you kissed him!"
"Right!" I huff as I tug my jeans up over my legs. I'm glad I'm not the only one that saw how rude he was just now.
"I don't know what his deal is with you." Charlotte sighs as I open the restroom stall, now back in my normal attire with the wedding dress back in its hanging bag.
"I don't either." I frown and try to shake the thought of him from my mind.
Unfortunately, another Bangtan boy quickly takes his place in my thoughts. "Charlotte, what were you most nervous about when you started dating Namjoon?"
