So impossible to stay here in a house were nothing goes right anymore , what happened to all the good times I had with my mom ? my brothers fallen victim to a woman I can't control , hairs darker than than the night , got eyes almost colder than a winter night , everyday he's out I wonder if he's gonna make it back at.night she got more curves then the city if you was man enough to tame her you was king but if not you would sink , All because you fell victim to a bitch called the streets.

The streets wasn't anything to play with but he's in love with it . Me askin' for a break would be selfish , I wonder if I left for awhile would things be different ? Or would it get worse as soon as I turn my back my back on it ? All answers I was gonna soon find out for myself....

I closed my diary and let the cool air hit my face I was gonna miss the smell of hot gumbo , and the sounds of jazz music pouring out those juice bars . But I had to do this for me this place had taken a toll on me I wasn't sure were I was going but it was gonna be better than this .

Who could believe that a nigga like me was at the library trying to get ready for this test I swea I ain't did Shit in this class all yea' I just make sure i'm there everyday I usually pay lil' Timmy in the front of the class to do it , but this time it had to be all me on my own I done did alot a shit this year that was a dissapointment to my ma I just wanna make ha proud I couldn't let my boys find out though ..

" wassup ?" I said roughly through the phone inhaling the thick cloud of smoke " baby we gotta talk " Tanya said through the phone I ain't een gone lie Tanya beem holdin' me dowm for a minute so I didn't mind kickin' it with her from time she kept my head right when I act up and lately I'v been needing a real reality check and not the one shay gave me , I was so pissed off when she said I was basically turning into an alcoholic this Shit was blowin' my high so I puffed and passed again "T are you there baby ? " Tanya spoke with a worried tone " oh yeah my bad T what was you sayin ?

I put my feet on the table and started to listen to her soft voice with that thick ass nola accent talk through my phone ; " uh T baby I'm two Weeks pregnant " I didnt say a word for about twenty minutes it felt like I knew she was still on the phone because I heard soft sniffles and then I met the dialtone.. " damn whuss wrong bruhh ?" Kevin said looking over at me , " Tanyas pregnant and there's a good ass chance it's mine man " I put my palms over my face and focused on the floor . "Damn, but you know if that's ya baby you gotta step up and be dere' you feel me ?" " yeah I feel you aye I gotta be out I'll slide through later or sumn " he dapped me up and just like that I stepped into the humid air. I honestly ain't have no clue what I was going to do with a child my ma already go through enough worrying about me and shay alone I didn't know what I was going to do right now but I gotta think of something and fast ...
