Unapologetic part 1

  A woman should never abandon  her responsibilities.... and that's probably what everybody thinks , It's just shay running away from responsibilities , or shay being rebellious but that's it it's the complete opposite I didn't up and come to stay with my granmama to abandon something as little as doing dishes..I swear it's like after my mama started working this cleaning job it's like shay gotta be the mama now , shay gotta have dinner ready by a certain time , shay gotta make sure that the fucking house clean or it doesn't get cleaned and on top of that I work a part-time job and in all these damn honors classes i can't just take on the role of being a mom like.. come on now I know I may sound selfish but it's unfair and fucking stressful but nobody every really asks why shay is so distant from everyone in the house it's because i can't continue to take on my mamas job of being a mama and being a straight A honor student I'm not superwoman , I can only do so much and please so many people at one time it gets old to me that's why i needed a break but I know this break gotta be cut short real fast ....

(Shay's Pov )

I tucked my diary into my pink and black nike backpack and headed on foot to the bus station , I know my ass is in some major trouble right now but something deep down within me doesn't care about consequences right now . Because I know my mama gone cuss me out , possibly kick me out and honestly it all doesn't matter why should it ? I left only to walk back into some bullshit.

(Next evening )

I've made it Home but still haven't built up enough strength or confidence to go back home and face my mom but I know either way I'm going to have to deal with it ; but there was no way i was walking all the way back home so I have to call someone to pick me up but from a payphone of course and it's late as hell . I found a payphone up the street from the bus station ; I didn't want to but I called August.. I was rocking back and fourth on my heels hoping he'd answer because right now he's my only hope for a ride anywhere " hello?' his voice echoed through this shitty ass payphone " August , it's shay I know it's getting late but i need a ride home - just then august cut me off  " were you at ? you should know- who phone you on? I shook my head at him interrogating me but it kind of changed my mood a little when I heard his voice " I'm at da  bus station downtown " he said okay and he pulled up within the next 20 minutes he unlocked the door for me and i slid in the passenger seat quietly and he stared at me before pulling off to my house but I couldn't look away from him " soo insteada starin' at me you gone tell me what all this was about?" i took my glasses off and sat them in my lap before explaining myself to him " I just felt like i needed ta leave from the Nola for a lil bit because i was stressin' about T, my mama , schoo i exhaled deeply unsure of what else to say " I know you was stressin' but you cant jus up and leave like you on got nobody that love you , you got your mama and yo dysfunctional ass brother that happens to be livin' with me because yo momma kicked his ass to the curb when she found out you ran away " august stopped in a parking lot so we could continue to talk .. " She really kicked him out because of me ?" " I mean i think he was gonna get kicked out once yo mama figured out he had a baby on the way " " Baby ? T is having a baby on the way ??" my eyes nearly popped out my damn head i couldn't believe what i was hearing " No the girl that claimed she was pregnant by T lied or whateva and long story short T not the babies dad , i think it really hurt him to he rubbed the bridge of his nose as if he was stressed out and me on the other hand i was speechless that all this shit happened within three days " I can't believe that this happen" i said putting my head on the seat " And uh- I don't know when you gonna talk to him cause he don't want me- well us talkin' and plus he livin' with me now so... Shantay you need to to talk to T asap " august shifted in his seat and began driving the rest of the way to my house . the rest of the ride to my house was nothing but silience and it was an uncomfortable silence like one of us wanted to say something but neither of us was bold enough to do so . " Thank you" I said quietly, August grabbed my arm lightly and said no problem and with that i walked to the door unlocking it with my key and as usual the stove light was on and the house was lifeless and quiet almost like nobody lived here ..... Guess i better get some sleep because tomorrow morning is going to be full of bullshit....

Yep , ya'll i finally updated for you guys and to help you guys better understand the italicized section was her daily diary entry i thought i would start including those so you guys can get a better understanding of shay .. and i will be updating more frequently since i'm getting a new phone soooo yasss loves yassss . And one more final thing for those of you who want to know were shay went she was in a different city staying with her grandmother , I didn't really go into much detail about that and I reeeeeaallyy appreciate ya'll for rockin' with me ... Merry christmas babes
