"F-Felix?"

The younger boy clutched the Connection Crystal in his hand, the same one that had brought him to Changbin, and he glared daggers at the at the older boy. Though the Australian did speak up after a few moments of silent staring, he wouldn't have needed to, because everything he needed to say was reflective in his eyes; like it always was.

"You're so fucking stupid," the brunette hissed, and though the words he spoke were harsh, his next actions were not.

Changbin stood frozen as the younger boy walked towards him, and for a split second, the raven haired boy wondered if Felix was going to slap him across the face. But he didn't, and as angry as he was, the Australian couldn't ever bring himself to hurt even a single strand of hair on Changbin's head, because he knew that if he did, he'd be just like all the others in the raven haired boy's eyes; and he wanted to be anything but the same. He wanted to be different. So instead of hitting the older boy, the brunette snaked his arms around the shorter boy's neck, pulling him close. His embrace was warm, and comforting, and his arms seemed very protective when wrapped around the older boy's frail body. The world around Changbin melted away as he squeezed Felix back, not wanting the moment to end. But it had to end because Felix wasn't supposed to be there.

"What the hell are you thinking?" The Australian questioned, but the angry edge to his voice was now gone completely.

His words were softly spoken, and every syllable sounded like music to the older boy's ears. He wondered if he could just stay in that moment forever, because he wanted to just hold Felix close forever. There would be no need for hurt, or revenge, or pain, or suffering, -if only he could just live out the rest of his days in Felix's embrace.

"You need to go back," Changbin breathed out, and though he said those words, he tightened his grip on the Australian's body.

It wasn't that he wanted to leave Supernova. If he had a choice in the matter, he'd have stayed there with Red, and all the other members, and Felix for the rest of his life; because he cared for all of them. He loved them like family, even if he was distant, and he'd miss them for the rest of his life. He'd miss Woojin smiling, because Lord knows that boy's smile could light up even the darkest of rooms. He'd miss Seungmin and his snarky, over educated comments that sometimes made him want to tear his own hair out. He'd miss Jeongin and his laugh, because that boy's laugh could turn the most horrible of days into something not as bad. He'd miss Minho and his lame puns. He'd miss Hyunjin and his obnoxious shower singing. He'd miss Jisung and his snappy comebacks. He'd miss Chan and his motherly attitude, used to keep the boys in check when Red wasn't around to do so. And Red...He'd miss her a lot, too. He'd miss the home cooked meals, and the older sister vibes she put off that made everyone feel safe and sound.

But, most of all, he'd miss the boy that dropped into his life so unexpectedly and showed him that he wasn't ever as empty as he thought he was. He'd miss Felix more than anything at all because the Australian was the only person who'd ever been able to ruin him in all the best, most lovely ways. But as long as Osiris was around, Changbin couldn't ever have Felix close to him. As badly as he wanted to keep the younger boy at arms length during all hours of the day, seven days a week, three hundred and sixty five days a year; he knew that he couldn't. Because if Changbin's presence in Felix's life was a constant threat to the younger boy's safety; then the older boy was prepared to lock his heart away once more and remove himself from the Australian's life altogether.

"I won't go back without you," Felix replied confidently.

"Just go, Felix. This is my battle to fight, not yours," Changbin replied.

Finally, they broke away from one another, but both with great reluctance. They wanted to stay close to one another; but Changbin knew that he couldn't do that. Felix needed to go back to the hideout. He needed to get away from Changbin, because the raven haired boy knew that Felix wouldn't ever be safe for as long as the brunette was around him. He'd be in constant danger, and Changbin couldn't let Felix live in fear. Because, if he always lived in fear, then he wouldn't get to see that smile on the Australian's face. And if Changbin had to choose between preserving the younger boy's happiness, or keeping Felix close to him in such a selfish manner, the older boy wouldn't think twice. He'd make sure to stay far, far away from Felix so that his happiness wouldn't ever dissipate.
