{Season 2|EP.12}

Gin slept soundly that night, dreaming of when he would find his dear sweet Alice.

Gin pressed Alice’s wrist firmly on the bed as he towered over her trembling sweating body, her blue eyes sparkling with curiosity and innocence. Innocence Gin was dying to strip away from her. For the past two years Gin waited, yearned, longed for just her touch once more. Even if it was just for a minute, a second, a millisecond even. “Gin, I-” Gin looked at Alice, licking his lips. “Shh...Don't speak Alice.” Gin smirked as his lips clashed his hers.

Gin woke up to see that the moon was about to set. Great. Another sun rise. And another day of finding Alice. Gin thought as he got up, sitting on a bolder. “Alice...I’ll find you soon…” Gin promised as he reached his hand towards the gleaming rising sun. “Wow.” A voice behind him chuckled. “Matatabi.” Gin growled. “You’re that worried about this girl that you woke up this early?” Matatabi asked.

Matatabi is two-tailed, like a bakeneko, and is completely engulfed in flames, like a tiger (though it's flames are an animated cobalt blue and black). It also has heterochromatic eyes, the right being yellow and the left being green, similar to an odd-eyed cat without pupils.

“Will you just go back inside my soul and not come back out. Ever again.” Gin growled. “Hey, don't blame me. The scientist put the demon implantation in you. Not me.” Matatabi said as Gin rolled his eyes. “What do you want?” Gin asked. “I just wanted to see how your doing.” Matatabi answered. “Oh, I’m doing great! The girl I haven’t been able to get out of my head for the past something years is missing! Everything in my life is just peachy!” Gin yelled sarcastically. “Don't get mad at me. I’m just trying to help.” Matatabi sighed. “Help?!” Gin yelled.

“Yes help! I get what it’s like to lose somebody you cared for to the D.A.” Matatabi said. “You, of all people, know what it’s like?” Gin scoffed. “Yes, actually, just because I’m your demon cat doesn't mean that I didn’t have a life before you. Idiot.” Matatabi sighed. “You, actually had a life?” Gin asked. “Yes! That’s what I just said! Do you need to clean your ears out!” Matatabi scolded. “Now, let me begin by saying if you tell anyone else what I’m about to tell you. I will gouge your eyes out and feed them to piranhas. Got it?” Matatabi glared at him. “Yeah yeah. Let’s just get this done so I can go back to sleep.”  Gin yawned. “The year was X189.” Matatabi started.

It was a dark and starry night in the town of Matlock, a town filled with demon and dragon residents. Matatabi sat in a bar watching Velesa and Inferno going into one of their infamous petty fights. “You wanna go hot head!” Velesa yelled. “I’ll go you overgrown shadow!” Inferno yelled as Matatabi rolled his eyes. “Their fighting again?” Grandeeney asked, taking a bite of her cherry pie. “Yep.” Matatabi answered. “What is it this time?” Ramona asked. “I really don't know, nor do I care.” Matatabi sighed.

Inferno and Velesa both slammed onto the table, breaking it, also dropping Grandeeney’s cherry pie. “Ohhh...you idiots are dead.” Matatabi chuckled as him and Ramona backed up. Inferno and Velesa looked up to see Grandeeney pissed as all hell with a very dark aura surrounding her. “Can I EVER eat in peace?!” Grandeeney roared, through the fact that she had cream cherry all over her top lip changes the intensity of her rhetorical question.
