Sort of a short chapter, but technically I am a week late, so I figured I would give you something. I am going on vacation this week, so I may or may not have a chapter for you. Again, I'm really sorry for the short chapter, but I felt like I should give you something.

It was undeniable that she was Peeta and I's child, what with her blonde hair, and gray eyes.. I grin down at her as she struggles to open her eyes.
"She is beautiful just like her mother." Peeta says, grinning down at the both of us. Her little eyes finally open, and I can feel my grin spread across my face.
"Ya did good, Katniss." Logan smiles down on me and my child as he pats Peeta on the shoulder. Peeta looks as proud as ever as he shakes his hand in return.
"Where is everybody else at?" I ask, wondering where all of my friends are at the moment.
"Well, I haven't given them the okay to come down here yet. I was waiting for your okay." Peeta says, looking to me for an answer. I nod, and he begins the walk up the hill. Moments later her comes back, followed by all of our friends. Well, all of our friends, and Luke and Alexander.
Tris walks straight up, and squats down next me.
"Well, she did make a grand entrance." She laughs slightly, holding her arms out. "Can I hold her?" she asks, raising an eyebrow.
I nod, and hand my daughter up to one of my new best friends. She swaddles her in her arms, and plants a sweet kiss on her forehead. Tobias walks over to her, and grins down at her.
"You would make a good mom." He whispers, probably meaning for only her to hear, but I was close enough to invade. I grin, and nod at her.
"You really would." I say, and lay my head back against the make shift pillow that has been made for me. My eyes begin to get heavy, and I feel the heaviness of sleep overtake me.

When I wake back up, I am in my bed back at home, surrounded by the familiar scent of home. I roll over, and see that Peeta is laying beside me with our daughter laying between us. I grin, and give her a light kiss, turning back over to roll out of bed.
I getnly pad to the bathroom, and cringe when I look in the mirror. My hair is clinging to my forehead, I'm deathlly pale, and I feel like my throat is paper.
I fill the glass cup beside the sink with water, and gulp it down.
"She said you would be super thirsty when you woke up." Peeta says from the doorway. I grin at him through the mirror as he walks up beside me.
"Here, take these. She said that they would help." He says as he hands me a few pills that look as if they came straight from some strange bright place. I furrow my brow, and pop the pills into my mouth.
I didn't even realize I was in pain until it went away the minute I took the pill. I sigh in relief, and swallow down the rest of the water. I turn on my heels, and leave the bathroom, following right behind Peeta.
He scoops a still sleeping Alextris into his arms, and we both walk downstairs.
"Where are Tobias and Tris?" I ask, as we enter the empty kitchen. I begin pulling toast and things for breakfast from the cabinets as Peeta lays our daughter down in her swing we have strategically placed so we can keep an eye on her as we cook.
We stand side by side as we scramble eggs, flip bacon, and spread peanut butter on toast. I quickly make some coffee, and take the pot to the table. We carry all of our items to the table, and sit side by side.
Alextris makes a slight noise, and we both smile towards her.
"To answer your previous question, Tris is at the bakery with Myrna, and Tobias is out on the trip." He says, taking a bite of bacon.
"Wait, how long have I been asleep?" I ask, thinking that it has only been a few hours.
"Oh, it's been about three days. Your doctor gave you some medicine so you wouldn't have to deal with the pain, and then made sure that you would have enough for a few weeks." He says simply, taking another bite.
I immediatly begin to get agitated at the fact that she didn't even ask me, because I would have told her that I would rather be in pain. I just missed three days with my daughter, and I had no choice in it.
"I cannot believe she did that without asking!" I say, pushing back from the table.
Alextris makes a few noises, and I know that I am being to loud. I queit myself down, and try to calm down.
"Katniss, you were in pretty bad shape, I mean, you gave birth to your child in the middle of the woods with barely any medical equipment, or numbing medicine for that matter. You are not invincible. You are human, and you do have limits." He says in that tone that makes everything make sense.
I sigh, and nod my head. He grabs my hand across the table, and kisses it as soft as a feather.
"We are all together now, our own little family.." He says, smiling the smile that I fell in love with.
"Yeah, I guess we are.." I say, leaning across the table to allow our lips to meet.
