It was different. Combat of this style was not so much accustomed to 2IC's personal experience. He fought in the wide outdoors, in between cities and villages. And if they were not in a town, they were fighting in the jungles. At that point, it was whoever spotted first, and used the cover of the foliage best.
Here, it was wholly different. Fighting inside a building with the elite operators and even these unique enemies using smaller and more compact weapons. Submachine guns and shotguns seemed to be the way to go, with the exception of CQC versions of assault rifles.
Here listening is perhaps even better than just seeing.
As the lead F.B.I operator moved, she nearly halted completely as the came to a T shaped intersection of the hallways. Her hand raised, and closed to slowly lower downward. Frost knelt instantly, and 2IC did so as well, delayed having just caught the hint.
Ash peeked left, as the sound of subtle steps came from so. Her hearing proved her correct to be cautious, as she whispered back to her two followers, her head still facing the direction of the steps.
"Looks like two tangos. Moving this direction fast. Frost get ready, we're gonna focus fire down the hall."
Frost nodded, along with a subtle, "Yes." to follow.
2IC's index finger led off the trigger, as he saw he wasn't going to be taking out anyone.
A few full seconds passed, and the echoes of their voices were starting to feign, and what they were saying we becoming easily audible.
"How much time we got?"
"No fucking idea."
"When we get to Ken, we need to let him know we have extra C4 in 237. We need to protect that along with the assets."
"Whatever, as long as we get to take a few of these pricks out."
"Hell yeah."

What were they waiting for? The reflective lenses of 2IC's aviators stared at the two operators before them, yet they sat calmly, allowing the two white masks to close in. Their voices only got nearer as seconds passed.
"You ready? Swipe said they should be moving into the next hall over." One of the terrorist mentioned.
2IC's hands were starting to develop perspiration. Their pace was quick, and he felt like they would spotted if they did not make a move now. Ash pressed her body against the wall, as did Frost, and the two waited patiently, almost as if they wanted them to come to blows with the terrorists.
"Yeah, lets do it."
They had to be damn near in front of them now. Their voices caused his mind to scream at 2IC, ordering him to shoot.
In a few short flashes, Ash and frost stepped out of their near statue like poses. They rounded the corner and both of their weapons exerted rounds into both men. The rapid fire from Ash's R4 and the heavy bangs of Frost's C1 shattered his anxiety, somewhat.
He heard bodies hit the floor, and it's deep echo throughout the hall.
Ash, as well as Frost wasted no time. They continued down the hall with haste as 2IC was just taking in what had happened.
'Such patience. I would never get that close with an automatic, let alone a rifle.' 2IC realized he was staring at the bodies of the two corpses. Hooded, faces hidden, they would be known as nothing more than terroristic criminals...
