Who Is The Muffin Man Anyway?

Phoebe stared at the ceiling. She needed to talk to someone at a time like this, but who?

Her parents were still freaked out over what happened to Ben and wouldn't let her leave the house. Maria was dead and Janice was in the hospital. The cute couple, Skyler and Britney, were both dead so she couldn't third wheel it anymore. She just heard from Morgan that Shelby was killed as well. The latest call from a sobbing Morgan was that so was Robbie, in the most tragic way.

On a side note, Phoebe was sort of pissed because she was Team Robbie.

The only person left for Phoebe to talk to was Thomes Tatas, the dude she was in love with.

Unlike when she first called him earlier today, Thomes answered this time. He lived right down the road, Mrs.Tatas would let him leave his house, and he had no fear of the Muffin Man.

"I'll be right over. Okay?" Thomes said.

"Oh yes. Please come over," said Phoebe.

She freaked out to herself and quickly straightened up her room a bit. Phoebe fixed her hair and looked in the mirror for the first time since leaving the house this morning to go the Lake Victoria for it was Morgan's birthday. Not a huge shock that she looked so disheveled.

For good luck, Phoebe sprayed herself with Taylor Swift perfume and put a couple coats of mascara on. Thomes never showed an interest in her, he may have hooked up with all of her other friends, but Phoebe was still holding onto what happened on October 10th...

Mr.Watson called up to her room."Phoebe, you have a visitor. It's Thomes!"

"Tell him to come up!"

She sat on the side of her bed with a box of tissues next to her so it looked like she was crying and not trying to impress Thomes. When he came in he even asked,"Are you okay?"

"Yeah, you? Skyler was the second one dead,"said Phoebe.

Thomes said,"That's all good. I wasn't a Skyler fan to begin with. All that matters is that you're okay. Really."

"Really?"

"Yeah."

Thomes leaned into kiss her, but Phoebe backed up.

She said,"Hollahollaholla. What are you doing? Aren't you dating my cousin?"

"Bonnie?" asked Thomes.

"My cousin."

"I was just trying to make you feel better," Thomes said."You look like you would need a pick-me-up. Relax, Phoebe, it's all cool. Lay back, relax."

"Lay back?" Phoebe asked with a laugh."Why?"

"Or else the Muffin Man's gonna get you," Thomes joked. Then he realized that that probably wasn't the best joke to try out at the time as it sent Phoebe into yet another crying fit. After all, the Muffin Man had killed many of her best friends.

"I'm sorry," Thomes said. He put an arm around her that she flung off."What? I wasn't trying to make a move or harrass you or anything, I just thought to comfort you." Thomes was kind of getting frustrated now.

Phoebe moved around her room and paced the floor.

She moved the curtain and looked out the window. She asked," Who is the Muffin Man anyway?"

"A dude," Thomes said. He was right behind her.

Phoebe was sort of shocked at how quietly he had snuck up behind her.

She turned around, closing the curtain. She looked at him and all of his hotness. Long, wavy, bleached blonde hair, sneaky smile, and that one lazy green eye of his. It was ever so appealing and apalling at the same time.

"I never understood why nobody likes you," she said to Thomes."Like, so what if your different or like weird screamo bands or wear colorful skinny jeans. I like it."

"Then go out with me," Thomes said."I'm probably not going to leave you alone after tonight anyway."

"Why?" she asked but Thomes just laughed in reply."What?"

He kept laughing and it started to throw Phoebe way off. But she figured that this was just Thomes' way of being flirtarious or just being nice.

"Like, you don't even have to be near people that you don't like or that don't like you. Just stay with me, Thomes."

"What?"

"Thomes,"she continued,"I don't like when you fight and argue with everyone else. It makes me really sad because you don't know. Really. Like just stay with me, like I really love you. So, like today at the beach you kept yelling at everyone and they were all upset, don't do that. I really don't understand why you push me away when I'm seriously your only friend."

"Did I push you away?"Thomes asked her.

"You usually always do."

"Yeah... but did I now?"

"No, but still. It'd be wrong when there's a murderer out there killing all of our friends.Well, my friends." Phoebe wasn't about to live out her preteen dream when her best friends were getting their lives cut short. Especially when the only ones besides her and Thomes still out there were: her best friend, Morgan; Morgan's crush, Neil; and the innocent Hunter, who had nothing to do with anything.

"The Muffin Man isn't coming for us," Thomes said.

"How do you know?"

"I just know."

"No, you don't."

"Sure I do,"he replied."So, I'm not dating Bonnie by the way. We've been broken up since June. I've been single for almost a month."

"Do you like me?" Phoebe asked.

"Yes."

"But I'm not going out with you, you're a cheater."

"What?!" Now this was the part that was confusing Thomes.

"I could be in love with you, but I don't want to date you."

Thomes suggested they take a walk outside, not caring about the whole Muffin Man conundrum. He wanted Phoebe Watson to get out of this stuffy room to clear her head and start thinking straight. She could be in love with him, tell him to hang out with her, but not officially date? Just stay friends even though both of them want more?

Still after being outside for about fifteen minutes, Phoebe was not changing her mind about it. Thomes remembered why this butterface annoyed him back on October 10th...
