(COMPLETED) Cliffhanger's Night of Murder

Chap 5: Interrogation part 3

Mayor Barenko continues: "Another chosen candidate was murdered right before the second election day and James was one of the suspect. In the end, the case was left unsolved.
But there were rumors that James WAS the one who set up the murder"

Detective Billy: "And why is that??"

Mayor Barenko: "James was the best friend of that candidate at the time but just not long before the murder happened, they had had a big fight over something quite serious.
Plus, James was very smart and all, he was a great engineer and used to be the town's sheriff at one point. He had experienced all sort of criminal stuffs.
That's why the people suspected him and stopped voted for him. So i became the Mayor"

Detective Billy: "Okay...what is the point of bringing all of this up?"

Mayor Barenko: "Lets me continue first!
I believed in the innocence of James thats why i did a little bit investigate and what i found was that Anna might be the one behind the whole thing"

Detective Billy: "Are you sure Mr.Mayor?"

Mayor Barenko: "Not really. I have done investigation but i dont have anything to prove tho"

Detective Billy: "Then were there any reasons she did that ?"

Mayor Barenko: "Well,...we were lovers back then..."

Harold: "What??!?!"

Mayor Barenko: "Yes! She probably did that because she wanted me to win. But after i found out she might be the one who planned the murder , i left her.
She killed James this time, probably because she thought it was his fault that we broke up. That can be the only logical explanation."

After that we let the Mayor returned to the living room, but before we interrogated someone else, we sat back in the room and discussed.

Detective Billy: "Hey Watson! Lets me see your note"

Harold: "Watson? Really?"

Detective Billy: "Just give me the goddam note!"

I gave him the note and after he looked at it he said: "Partner who do you think is a murderer?"

Harold: "Could be Miss.Anna ! Both Natt and Mr.Mayor said she is the most suspicious !"

Detective Billy: "Yeah....but i dont think this case will be easy to solve like stealing candies from a kid . Some thing is telling me there is more to this.
Now with my thorough analysis of the corpse's anal cavity, I discovered the cause of James' death is that he has been shot NOT just once! but twice!! which led me to a theory that there had been a gun fight but how could a loud gun fight not be heard by anyone?
That's why i continued to investigate the kitchen where is both bulletproof and soundproof. A perfect place for little killin!
And just as i expected, there were more bullets to be found !But the most important thing i found THIS!"

Detective Billy showed me a pikachu plushy which had dried blood on it.

Harold: "That pikachu is from Lucky!!!"

Detective Billy: "Oh yes, but this pikachu could be stolen from the murderer somehow and that murderer placed it in the kitchen to blame Lucky.
But i still think that Lucky was the murderer, not just because i think he is an as*hole. But also....
...James personally told me last night that Lucky's recent fiancée was his ex-wife!"

Harold: "Wut? So are you saying Lucky dragged James' wife into a love affair?"

Detective Billy: "Oh yes!
And one more thing, i have done some research that Lucky also accidentally shot someone before and had to go to an asylum for 8 years until he was released 2 years ago.
Everyone in his company said that he got mental problem which made him triggered easily and he could swung his gun at anybody.
So easy to think that he also got mad this time and killed him uncontrollably since Lucky didn't seem to have a good relationship with James.
Besides, he didn't tell us what he did last night yet
BUT!!! We cannot come to any conclusion yet. Especially we are still missing the pieces for this puzzle...
