(COMPLETED) Cliffhanger's Night of Murder

Chap 8: The murderer revealed?!?!

Mrs.Cathy got on our car and sat next to Lucky at the front seat. I introduced myself to her and she did the same.

Oh yes! And after that, i remembered to pee on the tree near there. It was a very awkward moment but if i held it in any longer, it would definitely be very smelly afterwards.

Lucky continued driving.

Mrs.Cathy: "So where is everybody going? I thought we are having some kind of celebration at the Cliffhanger's Mansion?"

Mayor Barenko: "Well...uhm...something unexpected has happened sooooo...we are going to look for some help!"

Mrs.Cathy: "Can you be more precise ?"

Lucky: "Honey! You will know when we get there!!!"

Mrs.Cathy: "Sure..."

After few more minutes of driving, we saw the bridge ahead. Just need to cross this bridge, we only had miles away until reaching the town.

But as we came closer to the bridge, it was suddenly..BLOWN UP!!!

We were all shocked. Lucky got out to check and told everyone else to stay in the car. I ran after him to see also.

The explosion was too big that damaged the bridge pretty heavily,

Harold: "That murderer's determination is very high huh? Willingly to destroy the bridge-the only way to get out of this mountain in order just to trap us here. But why? Doesn't that make the murderer trap here as well?"

Lucky: "It cannot be..."

Harold: "What??"

Lucky: "It's impossible!!! The murderer couldn't have done this!!!"

Harold: "Then who else???"

Lucky: "I-i dont know..."

When i started to suspect Lucky's behavior, Mrs.Cathy called us from behind, interrupted my thought...

Mrs.Cathy: "Hey! How is it going?"

Lucky: "Honey! Get back to the car. It is dangerous out here!"

Mrs.Cathy: "But Barenko told me-"

We then heard another big explosion. Just when we got time to calm our mind of what just happened, we saw our car ,that we used to drive there, on fire.

"SHIT!!!" I yelled as i ran to the car but got held back immediately by Lucky.

Lucky: "Are you CRAZY? Can't you see there is a fire?"

Harold: "Dang it! Mr.Mayor is still in there, we have to save him!"

Lucky: "He must have been dead in there now. Calm yourself!"

While we were fighting each other, the car break got loose and started going down the hill. We avoided the car quickly and it fell out of the edge.

We all looked at each other terrified and then walked back the mansion.

After like 30 minutes of walking, we finally reached there. When we came in, everybody was gathering in the living room.

Harold: "Hey detective! We're back"

Detective Billy: "You guys have gone for far too long. What happened?"

Lucky: "The bridge got destroyed!"

Everyone: "What???"

Mrs.Cathy: "Someone used explosives to destroy it!"

"Oh Cathy darling! You're here!" Miss.Anna said as she hugged Mrs.Cathy
